如不能视日轮。如是说。如是广说。若未得于一切所知无有染著之智慧眼,圆满之佛陀,则不得解脱一切障碍之究竟涅槃。譬如,舍弃光明与光芒四射,则不能视清净之日轮。三、摄略所说之义:如是胜者之藏性,说为安立十种相。如是说。如是广说之理,法性胜者如来藏,法界,是决定之理,或安立,从体性之义至功德无别之义,以十种相而善说且明示之。三、虽体性不变,然显示清净垢染之譬喻有五:连接文;以九喻显示垢染与如来藏;清净垢染之理;如何证悟之次第;显示藏性本身。一者:烦恼胎内所住者,当以诸譬喻而知之。如是说。从无始以来,虽近住然无关联之自性,乃是突发之垢染,住于烦恼胎藏之内,自性清净之法性藏性,为明示其相,以九种譬喻,如如来藏经所说而知之。二者有三:总说、广说、义摄。一者有二:从遮障所遮障之譬喻义而说,与个别而说。一者:佛像莲中蜜蜂中,糠中精华不净中金,地中宝藏苗小果,敝衣之中有胜者像,恶妇腹中有主,地中有宝像,如是,突发烦恼垢染所遮障之有情,如是此界存在。如是说。佛之身像,于恶莲花之中;蜂蜜之精华,于众多蜜蜂群中;果实之皮或糠中,有精华之谷;

As one cannot see the sun. Thus it is said. Thus it is extensively explained. If one has not attained the perfect Buddha, who possesses the wisdom eye free from attachment to all knowable things, then one will not attain the ultimate Nirvana, which is the complete liberation from all obscurations. For example, if one abandons the bright light and radiating rays, one cannot see the pure disc of the sun. Third, summarizing the meaning of what was said: Thus, the essence of the Victorious One is said to be the ten aspects of establishment. Thus it is said. In this way, according to the method of extensive explanation, the Dharma-nature, the Tathagatagarbha of the Victorious One, the Dharmadhatu, is the principle of determination, or establishment, from the meaning of essence to the meaning of inseparable qualities, and is well-spoken and clearly shown by the ten aspects. Third, although the essence does not change, there are five examples showing the purification of defilements: the connecting passage; showing defilements and the Tathagatagarbha with nine metaphors; the method of purifying defilements; the order of how to realize it; showing the essence itself. First: That which dwells within the womb of afflictions, should be known by these metaphors. Thus it is said. From beginningless time, although dwelling closely, the nature of being unrelated is a sudden defilement, dwelling within the womb of afflictions. The Dharma-nature essence, which is pure in nature, in order to clearly show its aspect, with these nine metaphors, one should know it as it is said in the Tathagatagarbha Sutra. The second has three parts: general statement, detailed explanation, and summary of meaning. The first has two parts: speaking from the metaphor of what is obscured and what obscures, and speaking individually. First: Buddha image in a bad lotus, honey in bees, essence in chaff, gold in impurity, treasure in the ground, small sprout and fruit, Victorious One's image in tattered clothes, a lord in the womb of a bad woman, a precious image in the ground, just as these, this element exists in sentient beings obscured by sudden afflictive defilements. Thus it is said. The body image of the Buddha, within a bad lotus; the essence of honey, within a multitude of bee swarms; the essence of grain in the husk or chaff of fruit;

Furthermore, just as gold arises from impure substances, precious treasures are found in the soil of poor people's homes, seedlings of trees grow from small tree fruits, the body of the Victorious One is found in tattered clothes, a Chakravartin, the lord of humans, is born from the womb of an ugly woman, and the image of jewels is found in the mud where sheep are released. Similarly, sentient beings obscured by the adventitious stains of afflictions certainly possess this stainless essence of the Buddha-nature. Secondly, it is said: 'Impurities such as lotus, living beings, husks, filth, earth, fruit peels, and tattered clothes, as well as women and earth elements tormented by burning suffering, are similar. Buddha, honey, essence, gold, treasure, banyan tree, precious body, supreme lord of the continents, precious image, and the supreme stainless essence are the same.' It is said that the adventitious stains of afflictions that obscure the naturally pure essence are like lotus flowers, living bees, and husks of grains, impure substances, piles of earth, fruit peels, tattered clothes, and ugly women tormented by burning suffering, such as the helpless, and the essence of black mud. The body of the Buddha, honey, the essence of grains, gold ore, precious treasures, trees such as the banyan, images made of jewels, the supreme Chakravartin, lord of the four continents, images of precious gold, and the supreme essence that is stainless and utterly pure, the Tathagatagarbha, are the same. Secondly, the extensive explanation is divided into nine: the metaphor and meaning of the lotus and the Buddha, the bee and honey, the husk and fruit, filth and gold, earth and treasure, peel and sprout, tattered clothes and body, ugly woman and Chakravartin, mud and golden body. Everything is shown with three aspects: metaphor, meaning, and function. Each of the nine has three aspects: explanation of the metaphor, showing the meaning, and combining the metaphor and meaning to summarize the meaning. Thus, the first metaphor and meaning have three aspects: the metaphor, the meaning, and the combination of the two. The first is, just as the color is ugly.
