Because of fully and directly knowing everything, becoming the part of realizing perfect enlightenment, and the part of completely abandoning the two obscurations and sudden stains along with their habitual tendencies, that is, because the two qualities reach the ultimate. From the perspective of the former, it is established as the perfectly enlightened Buddha, and from the perspective of the latter, it is established as Nirvana. These are merely differences in name, but in reality, they converge on one essential meaning. Therefore, for the pure realm of activity of the wisdom of the noble ones, it is non-differentiated and non-dual. The second is: All forms are countless, Inconceivable, without stain, qualities, Undifferentiated nature is liberation, Liberation is thus the Tathagata. As it is said, because there is no incompleteness of qualities, it is all forms, because the distinctions of qualities are boundless, it is countless, because the number and power cannot be measured, it is inconceivable, because it has abandoned the two obscurations along with their habitual tendencies, it is without stain, that is, the Dharmakaya with the nature of these four qualities being inseparable manifests, and is called liberation, Nirvana reaching the ultimate. Whoever is the nature of liberation, from the perspective of directly realizing suchness, is also the Tathagata. Third, to ascertain these with examples, there are two: the uncertain, shown by the example of painting, and the certain, shown by the example of the sun. The first has two: the example and the meaning. The first is: How the painters, Those who are skilled in others and others, Whoever knows which limb well, He will have no fixed understanding of others. Then all of you, Make my image like this, The sovereign king to those, Bestowed the canvas with command, Having heard that from it, They diligently apply to painting. Among those diligently applying, If one goes to another place, Because he went to another place, Because it is incomplete, that painting, All limbs are not complete, Knowing this, it is made an example. As it is said, the cause for accomplishing the above four qualities is the wisdom of realizing emptiness that possesses all perfections. Therefore, it is shown by the example of painters, that is, how many painters do the work, each of whom is particularly skilled in different limbs such as the head, gather together, and whoever knows well the limbs such as the head, then for the other

When those who have not definitely remembered, that is, those who become ignorant, gather together, then the lord of the land, the king, gives them cloth and commands, "All of you use this cloth to draw the image of me, the king." When that command is heard, they each strive to engage in the work of drawing according to what they know. Among those painters who are devoted to drawing, if one who knows the head goes to another place, because the one who draws the head has gone to another place, and because he is missing, the painting of the king's image is like all the limbs not being able to be completely finished. This is an example cited from the question of Tsugna Rinchen. The second is: What are those tools for drawing? Giving, discipline, patience, and so on, endowed with all kinds of excellence, emptiness is spoken of as the image. It is said, what is the meaning represented by those paintings? Giving without attachment to anything, discipline without the stain of faults, patience without error at any time, and the diligence represented by the word "and so on," which rejoices in virtuous deeds, meditation focused on the object, and wisdom that thoroughly distinguishes the Dharma, that is, emptiness endowed with all kinds of excellent means, manifested as the Dharmakaya, is like a perfectly drawn image of the king. Second, regarding the analogy of the sun of certainty, there are two: expressing similarities, and showing the Buddha entering Nirvana. The first is: Wisdom, primordial wisdom, liberation, etc., because of clarity, radiance, and purity, and because there is no difference, they are the same as light and rays, the mandala of the sun, etc. It is said, the wisdom that is inseparable from the four qualities, as well as primordial wisdom, and liberation, in order, because they make it clear, make it radiate, make it pure, and because all three are without difference, they are equal to the clarity of light, the radiance of rays, the purity of the sun's mandala, and the absence of difference between these three. The second is: Therefore, without attaining Buddhahood, one cannot attain Nirvana, abandoning light and rays.
