The cause of the perfection of the form realm, the four meditations and the immeasurables, and the cause of the perfection of the formless realm, the formless attainments, also arise. The explanation of the fourth chapter, the section on the activity of the Tathagata, from the Great Vehicle Treatise on the Sublime Continuum, "The Differentiation of the Jewel Lineage," is completed. Third, the completion of the treatise has three parts: the benefits, how it was composed, and the dedication with a summary of the meaning. The first has five parts: stating the inconceivable meaning, briefly indicating the qualities, explaining the difference between the three, generosity, etc., stating the reason for that, and extensively explaining the benefits. The first is: The Buddha-nature and the Buddha's enlightenment, The Buddha's Dharma and the Buddha's activity, Even pure beings cannot conceive of them, This is the realm of activity of the guides. It is said that the Buddha-nature, which is naturally pure, is the state of the Tathagatagarbha with adventitious defilements, and that the state of being completely purified of adventitious defilements is the attainment of the great enlightenment of the Buddha, and the Buddha's Dharma, such as the powers, which are inseparably possessed by the great enlightenment, and the activity of the Buddha, which is spontaneously accomplished and continuously performed by the power of obtaining the qualities, are the four vajra places that accomplish the Three Jewels and are in accordance with them. The very truth of these is not to be conceived even by beings who are mostly purified of adventitious defilements and who abide on the great earth, so what need is there to mention ordinary beings and hearers and self-realizers? As previously shown, it is inconceivable. If you ask whose realm these are, this vajra place is the sole realm of the wisdom of the perfect Buddhas, the guides of all beings. The second is: The wise, having faith in that realm of the Victorious One, Become a vessel for the accumulation of Buddha qualities, Rejoicing in the accumulation of inconceivable qualities, They overcome the merit of all beings. It is said that the wise

Those Bodhisattvas who are particularly devoted to these four points of meaning, which are the sole field of wisdom of the victorious, perfect Buddhas, are indeed vessels of the immeasurable collection of qualities of the Buddhas, such as power. Because from the awakening of the Mahayana lineage, the ultimate fruit will be quickly obtained. Similarly, because the benefits of being manifestly delighted and particularly devoted to these four places, which possess a collection of qualities that ordinary people cannot imagine, are extremely numerous. Therefore, all collections of merit arising from the generosity of all sentient beings unrelated to this will be overwhelmed. The third is to explain the difference in three parts: explaining the difference from generosity, discipline, and meditation. The first is: If someone strives for enlightenment and adorns a golden field with jewels, As many as the dust of the Buddha-fields, offering them daily to the Dharma Kings, If another hears a word from this and believes in it after hearing it, This person will receive much more merit than the virtue arising from generosity. It is said. If a giver strives for enlightenment, a land made of gold and adorned with jewels, as many as the dust of the Buddha-fields, offering them daily to the Dharma King Buddhas, etc. From that merit, if another person hears a single word from this scripture that reveals the four places, and after hearing it, has faith and believes, then this virtue of his will obtain much more merit than the virtue arising from generosity. The second is: Whoever is intelligent, desiring unsurpassed enlightenment, for many kalpas, Without effort of body, speech, and mind, protects the immaculate discipline, If another hears a word from this and believes in it after hearing it, This person will receive much more merit than the virtue arising from discipline. It is said. Whoever is intelligent, desiring to attain unsurpassed enlightenment, for many kalpas, without effort or exertion from the three doors of body, speech, and mind, protects his own discipline without the defilement of transgression.
