Therefore, this ultimate state of self-arising phenomena is not known even by the great sages who have attained power. In the Mahayana treatise 'Uttaratantra Shastra', in the classification of the Buddha-nature, this is the second chapter, the chapter on enlightenment. For the sake of self and others, the ultimate truth body, and the conventional truth body that relies on it, the result of separation and maturation, these sixty-four kinds of qualities are different. It is the place of one's own wealth, it is the body of ultimate truth, it is the symbolic body of the sages, it is the place of perfect fulfillment for others. The first body possesses the qualities of power and so on, which are free from defilements. The second body possesses the marks of a great person and the qualities of maturation. Power is like a vajra that cuts through the obscuration of ignorance, fearlessness is like a lion in the assembly, the Tathagata is unmixed like the sky, and the two teachings of the Sage are like the moon in water. Knowing what is possible and impossible, the maturation of actions, as well as the faculties, realms, inclinations, universal paths, and meditations, etc., being without the stain of afflictions, the abode is mindfulness, the divine eye, and peace, these are the ten powers of knowledge. Knowing what is possible and impossible, maturation, realms, and the various inclinations of beings, the purification of afflictions, the collection of faculties, as well as the recollection of past lives, the divine eye, and knowing the way to exhaust defilements, like a firm armor and city wall, the power to pierce, destroy, and cut down trees is like a vajra. Perfectly enlightened with all dharmas, obstructing and preventing obstacles, showing the path and showing cessation, these are the four fearlessnesses. In order to know and cause others to know all knowable objects of oneself and others, in order to abandon and cause others to abandon what should be abandoned, in order to rely on and cause others to rely on what should be relied upon, in order to attain and cause others to attain the supreme and utterly pure object, in order to speak meaningful words for oneself and others, the sage is unobstructed in any place. Like the king of beasts, walking fearlessly in the forest, just as wild animals roam without fear, similarly, in the assembly of monks, the lion of the Sage, dwells in a good place, possessing unwavering and steadfast strength. There is no confusion or idle talk, there is no loss of mindfulness in teaching, there is no lack of focused intention.
