Like showing a form in a form. This state of reality transcends speech, thought, and knowledge, and cannot be grasped, just as one cannot draw on fire and the sky. Because it is separate from the object and the subject, the knowable and the knower, it cannot be known, just as the eye cannot see the eye. Because there is no lama to point out this reality, it cannot be known, just as a prince wanders among the common people. Because it is established as one taste in the realm of reality, it cannot be known, just as medicine turns into poison. Because the essence abides in awareness, immediately recognizing it as inverted and clinging to inverted appearances, it cannot be known, just as mistaking a rope for a snake. Therefore, due to the ignorance of complete imputation, one does not know one's own awareness, clinging to self in the absence of self, clinging to essence in the absence of essence, clinging to elaboration in the absence of elaboration, driven by afflictions such as the three poisons of attachment, aversion, and ignorance, thereby accumulating karma, experiencing the ripening results individually, and wandering in samsara. Moreover, due to the fault of being too close, one does not recognize it; although it is constantly with oneself, one cannot ascertain it, just like one's own face, wandering in samsara due to ignorance. Because it is too easy, one does not believe it; small-minded people think that a Buddha is adorned with marks and signs or possesses a Dharmakaya, and that this kind of ordinary awareness is not, thinking it is meaningless, therefore they do not believe it and cannot know it. Because it is too profound, one is distracted by the net of realization, separated from unforgetting mindfulness, and due to the fault of not recognizing it, one cannot know it. Because it is too good, one cannot know it; the mind is released into its own nature, and in this state, there is awareness without clinging, self-awareness without an object, clear and bright, this itself is the Dharmakaya, but such a Dharmakaya cannot be accommodated in the mind, therefore one cannot know it. Therefore, one must abandon these ignorances, and the method of abandoning them is to diligently apply oneself to the guru's instructions, the path of Mahamudra, and the stages of practice, thereby eliminating them. End of the second Dharma session. Secondly, as it is established, the basis that is originally present in the Dharmakaya, in order to manifest it, the stages of instructions mentioned above, as well as the experiences and realizations that arise during practice. That is, by practicing according to the guru's instructions, most of the adventitious stains are purified, and one can realize that the mind has no inherent nature, recognize it, and make it habitual. In order to realize it, the three pitakas and the tantras

Although many other things were said, this Kagyu Rinpoche tradition holds that everything is gathered into the profound path of devotion to the Lama. As Götsangpa said, "All the Vinaya Pitaka is gathered into the training of higher discipline, and that is gathered into devotion. Because when one prays to the Lama with devotion, afflictions and hatred do not arise, so it becomes the antidote to hatred. Likewise, it applies to all afflictions." And so on. All the Sutra Pitaka is gathered into the training of higher Samadhi, and that is gathered into this profound path of devotion. Through devotion to the Dharmakaya, the Lama's mind and one's own mind merge inseparably, and realizing the nature of one's own mind as free from arising and ceasing, that Samadhi is unshaken by afflictions and conceptual thoughts, it is a Vajra-like Samadhi, and in that Samadhi, a hundred Samadhis are gathered, which is the common view of Gonpa Drigungpa. And, the Abhidharma Pitaka is also gathered into the training of higher wisdom, and that is gathered into this profound path of devotion. Through the Lama's blessing, the high, low, and medium all appear as the Lama Dharmakaya. All three, body, appearance, and mind, are realized as the single taste of one's own innate mind, free from elaboration, thereby cutting through the clinging to all knowable objects and gaining control. And so on. The four Tantras are also gathered into devotion, from offering the Lama with all body and possessions, sacrificing life for service, and even being happy to have a thousand iron nails hammered into the body, like Jetsun Mila. This is the practice of the Kriya Tantra. Constantly praying to him and proclaiming his good name in all directions is the Charya Tantra, the second is mainly showing speech conduct. It is said. The compassion of devotion is continuous, and all memories and thoughts are meditated upon as the Lama's mind and appear as the Yoga Tantra, the third is mainly showing mind feeling. It is said. Through the blessing of Jetsun, if everything arises as the co-emergent wisdom, that is the intention of the Anuttara Tantra, the fourth is only co-emergent. It is said. And so on. The four empowerments and the two stages are also said to be complete in devotion alone.
