Namo Ratna Trayaya! Om Kamkani, etc. May all sentient beings in the Bardo be satisfied, and may hunger, thirst, fear, and terror be pacified. Through this offering of water, may the Naga King Gawa and all other lords of rivers and streams become a sacred offering. Thus it is said. The Four Elements Torma: In the torma vessels, tormas in the shapes of wind, fire, water, and earth—crescent, triangle, round, and square—made of tsampa, along with ransom alcohol and offerings, are sprinkled with water and purified with incense. From emptiness, within a precious vessel, the torma arising from the three grains is the essence of nectar, the nature of the four elements. Its function is to generate uncontaminated bliss. Oneself visualized as the supreme Buddha, adorned in dark blue, playing the sandalwood drum, revering the white silver bell, carrying the auspicious katas on the shoulder, understanding the meaning of sutras, tantras, and treatises, uttering the sounds of A-li and Ka-li. Yaṃ I Ī ca cha ja jña ña. Raṃ Ṛ Ṝ Ṭa Ṭha Ḍa Ḍha Ṇa. Vaṃ U Ū pa pha ba bha ma. Laṃ Ḷ ḹ ta tha da dha na. Offering these, Argham, etc. These divine substances of solidity, liquidity, warmth, and motion, are offered to the Lama Vajrasattva, Ratnasambhava, Amitabha, Amoghasiddhi, etc., and to the deities of the four families in the east, south, west, and north. May all afflictions, causes, effects, diseases, and demonic appearances be protected, averted, and transformed. Having realized all diverse appearances as interdependent arising, may the benefit of beings be accomplished through the door of impartial interdependence. Ransom: Consecrate by reciting Sambhara and the names of the Four Tathagatas. The ransom of the body, with attachments such as flesh and blood, is given to the realm with attachments such as earth. This ransom of mind itself is given to space. May gods and demons, with and without attachments, take this ransom and alcohol, and not harm anyone. May all harm from others' curses, phurbas, etc., be averted. Thus it is said. As urged by the incarnate Chokyi Gyaltsen, the monk Chokyi Wangchuk compiled and arranged this in the direction of Domé (Amdo) in the area of Bumpa Nyak. The Very Condensed Hundred Torma Offering: Without making a gathering of Buddhas and Dharma, Namaḥ Sarva Tathāgata Avalokite Oṃ Sambhara Sambhara Hūṃ. Recite seven times. Recite the names of the Four Tathagatas. Offering to the Lama, Yidam, Three Jewels, guests of service, Dharma protectors, guardians, and accomplishers of activities.
