With the three doors of speech, mind, and body, And also the equality of the three times, By making manifest the three lineages, May I perfect the wisdom pāramitā! Praised by all the Buddhas, Blazing with light and splendor, By the diligence of the Bodhisattvas, May my aspirations be fulfilled! Thus practicing and being a practitioner, Possessing loving-kindness and fame, Having perfected the six pāramitās, May I be firmly established on the summit of the ten bhūmis! The Indian abbot Jinamitra (梵文天城体：जिनामित्र，梵文罗马拟音：jinamitra，汉语字面意思：Victorious Friend), Surendrabodhi (梵文天城体：सुरेन्द्रबोधि，梵文罗马拟音：surendrabodhi，汉语字面意思：Well-Protected Enlightenment), and the reviser, the monk Yeshede (梵文天城体：यशस् दे，梵文罗马拟音：yashes de，汉语字面意思：Glory Army), translated, revised, and finalized it. When the Victorious Maitreya and the Lion, Show the deeds of becoming Buddhas in the future, May I also abide in supreme enlightenment, And also teach the unsurpassed teachings! By this virtue, in all lifetimes, Relying on virtuous and excellent spiritual friends, Taking on the burden of suffering for all sentient beings, May I work for the teachings of Maitreya! The aspiration prayer for the practice of enlightenment from the Bodhicaryāvatāra: Whatever virtue there may be from My composition of the way to engage In the practice of enlightenment, May all beings engage in enlightenment! In all directions, may all those Who suffer in body and mind, Be blessed with oceans Of joy and happiness! May they never be separated From happiness as long as samsara lasts, And may beings continuously enjoy The bliss of the bodhisattvas! In all realms of the world, Wherever hells exist, May all those who dwell there Find joy and happiness! May those tormented by cold find warmth, And may those tormented by heat Be cooled by the endless streams Flowing from the great clouds of bodhisattvas! May forests of sword-leaved trees Become dense groves of sandalwood, And may the shalmali trees Sprout as wish-fulfilling trees! May the cuckoos and geese, And other birds, delight us With their beautiful songs, And may the hell realms be filled With lakes of fragrant lotuses. May the piles of coal Be transformed into heaps of jewels!

May the burnt ground be transformed into a crystal ground! May the assembled and destroyed mountains also become offerings! May it become an immeasurable palace, filled with Sugatas! May the rain of firewood, burnt stones, and weapons, from this day forward, become a rain of flowers! May the act of striking each other with weapons, from this day forward, become the throwing of flowers for play! May the countless rivers, like fire, in which one sinks, all flesh dissolve, and the bone piles be the color of Kunda flowers! By the power of my virtue, having obtained a divine body, may I dwell leisurely flowing with the goddesses! Why are the people of Yama, crows, vultures, and other unpleasant beings frightened here? Thinking, 'Whose power is this, that dispels all darkness and generates excellent power of bliss and joy?' Looking upwards, seeing Avalokiteśvara (Tibetan: ཕྱག་ན་རྡོ་རྗེ།) blazing in the center of the sky, with great joy, freed from sins, may I associate with him! By the falling rain of flowers mixed with incense water, seeing the firewood of hell extinguished with crackling sounds, suddenly satisfied with joy, thinking, 'What is this?' May the beings in hell see Padmapāṇi (Tibetan: ཕྱག་ན་པདྨ།)! Friends, abandon fear and quickly come here to us! By whose power are all sufferings abandoned and the strength of joy attained? Completely protecting all beings, generating bodhicitta and compassion, what is the youth with a topknot doing, blazing and fearless? May the crowns of your hundred gods worship the lotus at your feet, moistened with compassion, and may a rain of gatherings of many flowers fall upon your head. Look at this delightful multi-storied palace, with thousands of goddesses uttering praises! Seeing such Mañjuśrī (Tibetan: འཇམ་དབྱངས།), now may the beings in hell utter clamorous sounds! Thus, by my roots of virtue, may Samantabhadra (Tibetan: ཀུན་ཏུ་བཟང་།) and other bodhisattvas, unclouded clouds, send down bliss, and seeing the cool and fragrant rain falling, may those hell beings become manifestly joyful! May animals be free from the fear of eating each other! Like people with unpleasant voices, may the pretas be happy! By the stream of milk flowing from the hand of noble Avalokiteśvara (Tibetan: སྤྱན་རས་གཟིགས་དབང་།), may the pretas be satisfied, bathed, and always cool! May the blind see forms,
