May this mother-child world and so on, up to the limits of space, the stream of samsara and the lower realms be exhausted, and may the activities of liberation and omniscience increase and flourish, becoming prosperous and complete. May such aspirations and so on, all the merits accumulated in the three times of samsara and nirvana, be dedicated for the sake of attaining the great fruit of perfect enlightenment, and may they be swiftly accomplished. Homage to the Three Jewels! Tadyatha, pañcendriya, avabodhane svāhā. Then, the section on miscellaneous prayers: May I always be the protector of the Mahayana spiritual friend, By obtaining and respectfully serving, May I diligently follow the teachings of the Three Jewels and the Lama, And with great reverence, may the Dharma flourish. May it become the cause of the supreme, perfect, and complete enlightenment, May it become the boat that liberates limitless beings, May it become a Mahayana that is not inferior to the mind of enlightenment, May the profound and vast Dharma be constantly proclaimed. The essence of the noble Bodhisattva's conduct, The wonderful perfections such as generosity, The rare jewel that is difficult to find since beginningless time, May all perfections be easily attained in happiness. In the place where the thick darkness of obscuration dwells, May the glory of the light of wisdom illuminate beings, May the supreme consort of the sharp vajra of wisdom, Prajnaparamita, bring auspiciousness. The pinnacle of the Mahayana path, the vajra ground, The great mandala of the accomplished masters, Upon the nectar of the half-revealed mudra, May the realization of the wise increase. In the bliss of immortality and great joy, The sound of all beings rising from the path of the two extremes, The drum of the secret vajra Dharma arising, May it possess supreme fortune.

May this sound strike the ears! Until such power is obtained, may I become a perfect vessel for all the instructions of the Dagpo Kagyu from among the Kagyu lineages, and the Karma Kagyu from among the practice lineages! This was composed by Karma Pakshi Mikyö Dorje's joyful voice at the request of Rinchen Palmo, who possesses the wealth of faith. Namo Guru Karma Ka Akshobhya Vajraya (Tibetan: ན་མོ་གུ་རུ་ཀརྨ་ཀ་ཨཱཀྵོ་བྷྱ་བཛྲཱ་ཡ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: नमो गुरु कर्म क आक्षोभ्य वज्राय, Sanskrit Romanization: Namo guru karma ka akṣobhya vajrāya, Literal Chinese meaning: Homage to the guru Karma Ka Akshobhya Vajra). Even those arrogant ones like Brahma have great faith in the white side and praise it as excellent. May I never follow those who wrongly practice like the King of Others' Emanations, or those who follow the wrong path. In this time of leisure and endowment, free from defects, when the Victorious One's teachings are upheld and entered into, may I never encounter untimely death or other obstacles before accomplishing great meaning. In order to accomplish the power of vast aspirations, the accumulation of merit, and the effortless, limitless activity, may I accomplish the many foundations of merit spoken of by the Buddhas, which protect the Sangha. May I diligently practice the three trainings: discipline that is not mixed, samadhi that is free from disturbance, wisdom that is stainless and opens the eye of Dharma, and intelligence that increases the Dharma of the Buddhas. May I accomplish the unattached giving, the mind endowed with discipline, the obtaining of patience in the unborn Dharma, the correct exertion, and through profound samadhi and subsequent wisdom, accomplish all the means and power of union. May the realm of wisdom, free from dust and unchanging, unobstructed, all-pervading, self-luminous, the nature of all, turn the unutterable wheel of Dharma for all beings, and may all beings who reach the end of space be shown in a state of inexhaustible and unincreasing, and thus be liberated in their own primordially pure nature. This was composed by the Eighth Karmapa. May all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas abiding in the ten directions heed me! May all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the three times, who possess the mind of the three doors of liberation, dedicate all the virtuous roots, both contaminated and uncontaminated, of themselves and others to enlightenment, just as they wish, and may all sentient beings equal to space, including myself, also dedicate them in the same way. May all sentient beings, including myself, have the same Bodhicitta and vast aspirations as those Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.
