It is merely the occurrence of the result. The meaning of the word is that the result is like the puruṣa of the heretics, because it arises from the cause that acts on the result. Similarity is taken as the reason, like the medicine crow's foot. The fifth is the definition of the self-fruit: Although it is impossible for the result to be earlier than the cause, the unconditioned does not arise, so it is the conditioned that depends on the cause and is not produced earlier. Moreover, the cause is only the later arising of the conditioned and the cause of the unconditioned, but because it has no power, it is the only self-fruit of the conditioned that is simultaneous and previously produced. The definition is that it arises from a cause that does not obscure birth. The meaning of the word is that it arises because the cause is in control. The difference between the agent's action and the self-fruit is that it is either simultaneous or only immediately produced, or it is something else, or it is the fruit of only the capable cause, or it is also the fruit of the incapable cause. Third, there are two common dharmas of cause and effect: the time when the cause holds and produces the effect, and the analysis of what effect arises from what cause. First, what cause holds and produces the effect in what situation? The latter five causes actually obtain the power to hold and produce the fruit from the three times in the present time, because the second moment is exhausted, so there is no action of holding. The two causes of simultaneous arising and correspondence, because cause and effect are simultaneous, only produce the fruit in the present time. Equal and universal action, because cause and effect have a sequence, do not produce the fruit at the time of the cause itself, but if the other moment produces the fruit in the second moment without interruption, then it is produced in the present time, and if it is produced after an interval, then it is produced in the past time, because "དག་" is the word of two. Nagarjuna said: Two are present, past, etc. The only ripening cause is produced only from the past, because it is impossible to produce ripening simultaneously or immediately. The acting cause is also liberated from holding and producing, and the unliberated is included in the first five. The difference between holding the fruit and producing the fruit is: the first is that it has the ability to produce the fruit, and producing is that ability makes the fruit manifest.

Completed. Second, what fruit arises at the time of cause? Corresponding afflictions, there are defiled unwholesome and two obscurations, and three kinds of unspecified, which are maturation-produced and the rest are non-maturation-produced, as well as non-initial uncontaminated virtue, and the initial noble ones, that is, the initial uncontaminated ones. In order, the first two, when arising from the cause of maturation, are definitely unspecified. Therefore, they arise from the other five. Third, the false view that leads to falling into hell is the opposite of maturation, and since it is not an affliction, it does not arise from all co-emergent causes, but arises from the other five. Fourth and fifth, they arise from the other four causes besides those two causes. Sixth, since those two causes and the uncontaminated are not pre-existing, it also arises from the remaining three causes except for the co-existent cause. This refers to mind and mental factors. Then, from how many causes do form and non-formative formations arise? Except for the corresponding cause, the other five causes are combined in the same way as the four things mentioned earlier. These four dharmas arise from four causes, one cause, three causes, and two causes. In this way, it is impossible for one thing to arise from all six causes, at most it arises from five. However, one thing becoming all six causes is like a false view. Second, the explanation of conditions is divided into two parts: a brief explanation and a detailed explanation. First, what is a condition? Conditions are the four: causal condition, immediate condition, objective condition, and dominant condition, which are mentioned in the sutras from one perspective. The Specific Sayers consider causal condition and condition-cause to be different names. However, in order to eliminate the aversion of those to be tamed, they are said to be different, and six and four are the same substance, the difference being that the scope of condition is wider, and the middle two are more. Second, the detailed explanation is divided into four parts: the individual nature of the four conditions, what condition functions at what time, what things arise as conditions, and a detailed explanation of the immediate condition. The first part is divided into four aspects. First, the so-called causal condition refers to all conditioned phenomena. The definition is that the remaining five causes benefit the result in their respective ways. The meaning of the word is because it is both cause and condition. Second, the basis of the immediate condition is mind and mental factors, not others, because it is scattered.
