If one knows one's own "la" as one's own, it will not become a path of karma. If one knows one's own "la" as belonging to another, some say that the "la" of another will change through intercourse and enjoyment. Some say that even if intercourse changes it, it will not change, just like killing. If a Bhikshuni is defiled, then from whom is the illicit sex? If according to the first classification, is it from there because the king cannot tolerate it? If according to the second classification, is it like one's own wife abiding in a fixed place, not the right time? For a young woman, to whom is she given, and if not given, is she protected by parents etc., or even the king? Second, regarding the four of speech, the first is the actual path of karma. Incidentally, it is the telling of what is seen and heard. The first is: lying is transforming the state of things as they are known, and then speaking the meaning of the words so that the other person understands. Not understanding or being mistaken is idle talk. The four of speech also include bodily gestures and lies of fasting, etc., which are done by the mind. The second is: Regarding this, sixteen kinds of expressions arise from different sutras, namely: seeing and not seeing, hearing and not hearing, perceiving and not perceiving, knowing and not knowing. Speaking truthfully is the speech of the noble ones, speaking falsely is the speech of children. Among these, the basis of seeing, etc., is: eye consciousness, ear consciousness, mind consciousness, and what is experienced by the three consciousnesses of nose, tongue, and body, which are sequentially called seeing, hearing, distinguishing, and perceiving. Unifying the three, death is also called "end," and the unpredicted is also called "last," the sounds are similar, similar to death, namely the three of smell, taste, and touch, there is no good or non-good, similar to the unpredicted, therefore understanding the three knowledges as one direction is called perception. Or, these three are similar in encountering and grasping objects, therefore perception is called one. Above are the three of seeing, perceiving, and knowing, explaining the reasons sequentially through hearing, etc. The second is: divisive speech is for the purpose of separating others from friends, not mistakenly driven by afflicted minds, this applies to everything, and understanding the meaning of the words. The third is: harsh speech is speaking unpleasant words without error due to afflictions, to be understood. The fourth is: afflicted speech, the previous three and everything else are idle talk. Other schools are: from these three

Other words are afflictions, namely flattery that sustains a wrong livelihood, and songs and dances of attachment, and dramas performed out of a desire to laugh, and because one person does it and another participates, it is called that. Clinging to the views of outsiders and reciting evil treatises that expound those views, as well as wailing mantras and clamorous talk, and so on. Third, covetousness, whether strong or weak, is attachment that desires to possess the wealth of others because it is unreasonable. Harmful intent is hatred that thinks of the destruction and ruin of sentient beings. Because of the combination of words, thinking that there is no good or non-good, etc., and slandering the results of actions and the noble ones, etc., are all wrong views. Second, the meaning of the term "path of action" is that among these ten paths of action, the three of mind are not actions, but the gateway through which consciousness enters, so they are the path of action. The seven are also actions of body and speech, and they are also the path through which one's own motivating consciousness enters, so they are the path of action. The Sautrāntikas believe that consciousness is also the action of thought, and it is also the path to good or bad destinies, so all ten are considered paths of action. Third, regarding the function of wrong views, there are annihilationist views that sever roots of virtue, the nature of annihilation, and the way annihilation is connected. First, all ten non-virtues contradict the practice of virtue, but the mere view that there is no contradiction severs the root of virtue, because it contradicts all virtuous endeavors. The sūtra says that it is severed by the three poisons, which refers to the fact that they lead to wrong views and then sever the root of virtue, just as when a thief burns down a village with a torch, it is said that the thief burned down the village. Moreover, when wrong views arise, the virtues of the upper realms and the desire realm that have been previously cultivated have already deteriorated, so there is actually nothing to sever. Therefore, only the newly arising virtues belonging to the desire realm are actually severed, and it is thought that this prolongs the time of attainment, so it is established that wrong views sever the roots of virtue in the three realms. Other wrong views do not sever the root of virtue because they do not contradict all virtuous endeavors. Slandering cause and effect, or one of them, or some both, severs the root of virtue. Moreover, all of these take as their object whether they are directed towards realms of equal or unequal fortune. If asked, how is it severed? Some think that like what is severed on the path of seeing, nine virtues are severed all at once, but wrong views are large, medium, and small, and they sever nine virtues in sequence. Based on what
