The words of the venerable superior are very clear, so what need is there to accomplish by doing something contrary to them? Some commentaries on the Torma ritual hold that all three lotuses can be present within a single Dharma origin, which is unreasonable. Because in the tenth chapter, in the order of the superiors, it is included in the center of the three lineages of Dharma origin. "Looking at the eight-petaled red lotus," and Master Kampala said, "The middle of the triple Dharma origin is," and Marme Dze said, "The Dharma origin above is a white lotus," and "The Dharma origin below is a red lotus," and Jetsun Tsemose said, "In the Dharma origin in the lower part of the western direction of the mandala, there are eight petals of lotus," etc., which are spoken from the context related to the mandala. Jetsun said, "The lotus of the upper Dharma origin," and "The lotus of the middle Dharma origin," and "The lotus of the lower Dharma origin," because these are contradictory. In "Ray of Sunlight" it says: Therefore, it is unreasonable to absolutely hold that there is only a triple Dharma origin. Alala Vajra said, "In front, in the triangular Dharma origin, contemplate the triple lotus," and Mituzawa said, "In the place of origin of Dharma, the eight-petaled lotus is triple." Sachen said, "If you give Torma, in front, in the Dharma origin, from Pam (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, seed syllable) visualize the triple lotus," and Jetsun Tsemose said in the Extensive Commentary on Manifest Realization, before the scripture you quoted, "To this, inviting guests, if the mandala is not made in front, meditate on the Dharma origin for a moment, and in it, from the triple Pam (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, seed syllable) meditate on the triple eight-petaled lotus," and even from the perspective related to the mandala, it is said to meditate on the Torma guests in a single Dharma origin. If you think that the triple Dharma origin can be established in the quoted scripture "in the lower part of the west or southwest," it cannot be established. Because that is considering that the lower Torma guests are included in the outer Dharma origin, and it is not necessarily considered to be their respective Dharma origins. If that were the case, then for the upper Torma guests as well, their respective Dharma origins should be spoken of. Jetsun Tsemose said, "In the upper part of the east or northeast of that, in the nine Om (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, seed syllable) of the eight-petaled lotus, the center is the body Vajra.

E! It was only said that "there are eight great gods on the petals," and the arising stage was not spoken to the guests above. Therefore, it should be understood that the arising stage is triple-layered, or that making a triple-layered eight-petaled lotus in one arising stage is controversial. This is what was written. In this regard, those quotations say that there are triple-layered eight-petaled lotuses in the arising stage, but they do not say that there are triple-layered eight-petaled lotuses in one arising stage. However, the quotations cited from the "Essence Moonlight" explicitly state the triple-layered arising stage. Therefore, the meaning of the quotations of Alalavajra (ཨ་ལ་ལ་བཛྲ།, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization: alalavajra, Chinese literal meaning: Alala Vajra) and Invincible Moon, etc., also seems to mean that the arising stage is accompanied by eight-petaled lotuses. For example, just as saying that a vase filled with water is triple-layered means that the vase filled with water is triple-layered, not that there are triple-layered waters inside the vase. The meaning of Jetsun Tsemö's saying "in the arising stage" in the lower part of the southwest is that the lower torma guests are included in the outer arising stage, which is too much. Because there is no such doubt. If there is, then there will also be doubt as to whether or not it is included in the protection wheel. Therefore, saying "in the protection wheel" would also be too much of a doubt. If it is certain that the lower torma guests have their own arising stages and therefore say so, then it is reasonable to say that the upper torma guests also have their own arising stages, which is the same for you. If it is thought that the lower torma guests are included in the outer arising stage, and therefore it is said "in the arising stage," then it is also necessary for the upper torma guests to be the same, which is equally excessive. In short, from reliable Tibetan and Indian texts such as the Tenth Chapter of That Very One, the triple-layered arising stage is explicitly stated. Moreover, there is not a single reliable text that clearly states that a triple-layered eight-petaled lotus is made in one arising stage. The meaning of the quotations of Alalavajra (ཨ་ལ་ལ་བཛྲ།, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization: alalavajra, Chinese literal meaning: Alala Vajra), Invincible Moon, Sachen, and Jetsun Tsemö is also that there are eight-petaled lotuses in the arising stage, which are triple-layered like that, so it should be known that it is not controversial. In the commentary on the torma ritual, the Noble Rinpoche made it under the power of the three vajras.
