The right hands hold the wheel, vajra, and lotus, while the left hands hold bells with those as handles, which is the usual explanation. However, some say that in the Ala-la-vajra Torma ritual it says: "The white one has an adornment of purity on the head, the wheel and bell connect the hands; the blue one has an immovable topknot, the vajra and bell connect the two hands; the red one has an adornment of Amitabha on the head, the lotus and bell connect the hands." It is said that one can research after seeing that text. Nyizer Kenpo said: "When I saw that text, the hand implements were indeed like that, but according to that ritual, the top is a Garuda head, the middle is a Rakshasa head, and the bottom is a Makara head, so it seems that the ritual described there was not adopted here." However, Phagpa Rinpoche wrote: "Saying it like that, it should be understood as the oral transmission of the upper masters." Although claiming to accomplish Phagpa's intention, it seems that something completely unfounded has emerged, because for that ritual, there is no other basis than what is said in the Ala-la-vajra Torma ritual, and it is also admitted that that text is not a basis. Saying "It should be understood as the oral transmission of the upper masters" is also just a promise, because it is not said like that in any oral instruction ritual literature, and it contradicts the statement in the tantra that "the vajra and bell connect the hands." Regarding the hand implements of the consort, the commentary on the Torma ritual says that some consider it to be a curved knife and skull cup, which does not appear in all the tantras, Indian treatises, and writings of the upper masters, therefore here, "The self-equal vidya offers the body," which means to be the same as the father. Nyizer said: "Regarding this, the meaning of that tantra is only to be the same color as the father, and Mitukwa said: 'The self-colored vidya embraces the limbs.' And the same words are also said in 'Jewel Flame'." Therefore, Phagpa Rinpoche said that it is reasonable for the vidya who is the same as oneself to embrace holding a curved knife and skull cup, but "self-equal" does not necessarily require the implements to be the same, if it is necessary, then in the case of "Wisdom Vajravarahi is the form of the Bhagavan," the implements of Varahi must also be the same as the father, which would be too extreme. He wrote this. But this is very unreasonable.

Unable to Conquer the Moon, embraces with a consort of its own color. Although thus joining those of the same color, it is not the same as "Wisdom Vajravarahi is the embodiment of the Bhagavan," because the hand symbols are not mentioned separately. Because there, for both Vajravarahi and the Garland of Skulls, it is generally said, "is the embodiment of the Bhagavan," however, the special characteristics of the hand symbols, namely the curved knife and skull cup, are actually spoken of in the tantra. In the Tent Tantra, after saying, "Having offered the body with a consort of its own kind," it says, "The vajra bell joins hands," because the hand symbols are spoken of in common. Therefore, think well and then speak. In the context of augmentation, in the commentary on the Torma ritual, some say, "For Hevajra together with the eight directional protectors, etc., one augments everything with Akshobhya," and Surlungpa says, "The main deities, father and mother, Gauri and Pukkasi, Akshobhya..." etc. There are two ways of doing it, according to the sadhana ritual. If it is not related to the mandala of the generation in front, then a new mandala must be created in the center. Yoga Lord believes that if the four limbs are not complete there, the ritual is incomplete. Since the family lord of all is not Akshobhya, the latter seems better. In the Rays of Sunlight it says, "In the Tent Ornament, in the middle of the nine Hums, in the center is the mind vajra or nine deities, or forty-nine deities surrounded by the eight directional protectors, with a black Akshobhya head ornament." Therefore, I think that the Venerable One's intention is that the main deity is actually augmented by recitation, and it is enough for the retinue to merely remember the family lord, and by doing so, one is also freed from the fault of incomplete four limbs. Therefore, one does not need to accept that the eight goddesses are also augmented by Akshobhya just because the Noble Jewel said, "For Hevajra together with the eight directional protectors, etc., Akshobhya..." because the eight goddesses are not promised in Hevajra. Thus it is written. This is a great unexamined point, because the Tent Ornament says, "Having the head ornament of Akshobhya." If it is said that the main deity is actually augmented by recitation, then it must also be admitted that the "black" before that in the scripture also actually speaks of the color of the main deity. When making forty-nine deities, the family...
