If the remaining two hind legs are established in the manner of a dancing posture like the two front legs, then all scholars will have the same view, which would be excellent. Otherwise, these two scholars would also have the fault of being unskilled, because it is inconsistent with the tantras. To say this is too extreme. If that were the case, then all the scriptural statements cited by you from Jowo (Atisha), such as, "Above, four legs sit with the right extended," and from Kampa, "The chief's four legs abide with the right extended," etc., which show the posture of sitting with the right extended in a dancing manner, if it is said that the two front legs are extended to the right and bent to the left, in the posture of abiding in a dance with the five heights fully extended, and the two hind legs are extended to the right, with the fingers of the left bent leg joined to the thigh, then all scholars will have the same view, which would be excellent, and it would be the same in all respects. The view of the oral tradition is also the same. Although Jetsun Tsemö, in the context of extensively cultivating the Abhisamayalankara, only said that he sits naked with his right leg extended, in the context of pure mindfulness, he said: Because great compassion pervades sentient beings, the right leg is extended to show that he does not abide in nirvana. Because wisdom does not grasp any dharma, the left leg is bent to show that he does not abide in samsara. Like a dancer, he accomplishes the benefit of sentient beings with various costumes, therefore he abides in the posture of a dancer, in a half-lotus dancing posture. For the one who exists in the form of a seat stacked with the four maras, the right leg is extended, the left leg is bent, and the three pure dancing postures are separately proclaimed. To make this clearer, the Noble One said that the two front legs are extended to the right and bent to the left, and the two hind legs abide in a dancing posture, and that by suppressing the two extremes of existence and peace, the two root legs are extended and bent, and because he abides in the place of non-abiding nirvana, the two hind legs abide in a half-lotus dancing posture. Furthermore, in the "Pure Seat" composed by Jetsun Chenpo, it is also very clear that from the perspective of spreading out the four maras as a seat, the two front legs are extended and the left is bent, and the two hind legs abide in a dancing posture.

As it is said, please calm your mind and measure with a fair mind. Then, how should we understand the quote from the root tantras, "Residing on the sun disc, possessing a dancing posture"? Its meaning is not merely explained as having a half-lotus dancing posture, but rather its meaning is that like a dancer, one benefits beings through various forms, so it is written. These are unreasonable, because firstly, Naropa's Great Commentary and Manjushri Yeshe Zhap both say that the retinue is in a half-lotus posture, and there is no special mention of the main deity, so it is impossible to prevent the main deity from being in a half-lotus posture. If it can be prevented, then your own view that the latter two feet of the Oral Transmission School and the other three schools are in a half-lotus dancing posture will also be refuted, because those three schools do not explicitly say that the retinue is in a half-lotus posture. The view of Bodhichitta is explained as all four feet being raised high, with the right leg extended to press down on each demon, and the views of Padmasambhava and Invincible Moon are explained as the front two feet being right extended and left bent, and the back two feet residing in a dancing posture, these are all random statements. Bodhichitta said, "With feet successively pressing down on the four demons." If this is explained as successively pressing down on the four demons with four feet, then Padmasambhava's statement, "With four feet equally pressing down on the four demons," must also be explained as each foot equally pressing down on each of the four demons. If the meaning of "equally pressing down on the four demons" is explained as the four demons being stacked, then the meaning of "successively pressing down on the four demons" must also be explained as the four demons being successively stacked. In the Sakya lineage of the father and sons, the views of the Padmasambhava School, the Commentary School, and the Oral Transmission School are all that the front two feet are right extended and left bent, and the back two feet reside in a dancing posture. To prove this, the quotes from the texts of these three schools that speak of the seat of the four stacked demons are cited, which seems like not distinguishing between before and after, because the seat of the four stacked demons will become proof of residing in a half-lotus dancing posture. In the "Twenty Praises", "On the sun disc, the right foot extended"
