Because it is a characteristic. If you admit, the permanent dharma has the characteristic that the pot is a common characteristic, because the pot is some dharma that cannot actually function. Establish each reason separately. Second, regarding the example. The Mind-Only school says that the Mahayana practice does not focus on various dharmas of contaminated and uncontaminated, because it only focuses on the suchness of the nature of reality, the perfectly established nature, and the non-duality of grasping and being grasped. So, if one imputation is cut off, is it pervasive that all imputations are cut off simultaneously? Because the Mahayana practice only focuses on the nature of reality, and there is no difference in the types of nature of reality. If you admit, the purity of the object of focus will not become more and more excellent through the way of gradually cutting off imputations. Because if the object is emptiness and its own nature is purified from defilements, then the purity of the object of focus will become more and more excellent through the way of gradually eliminating defilements on the dharma, as the "Distinguishing the Middle from the Extremes" says: "The water element, gold, and space, are thought to be pure as if they are pure." If you say so, then the defilement of manifest attachment to the side of the antidote cannot be eliminated, because the antidote is truly established. If you admit, then the defilement of manifest attachment to the side of the dissimilar cannot be eliminated. It is pervasive, if there is a defilement of manifest attachment to the antidote, then there will also be manifest attachment to the dissimilar side, thinking that the antidote is the antidote to this object to be abandoned. Furthermore, the purity of the Buddha-land is one side of purity, because it is the ultimate purity that only eliminates the defilement of manifest attachment to the dissimilar side. That is also virtue and so on. In the section on "virtue and so on," study the characteristics of the three, virtue and so on. The study of examples is divided into two parts. The first part, among the three, negation, establishment, and abandonment, the first part, some say that they are, in order, the prophecy, producing one's own ripened fruit, producing satisfactory fruits, producing unsatisfactory fruits, and dharmas that have not been established as either virtuous or non-virtuous. The virtuous dharma that is certain to be destroyed by anger in its second moment is an external condition, because it is a virtuous dharma. If you admit, then it is not so, because it is that dharma. Furthermore, it is certain to be eliminated by confession in its second moment.

The non-virtue on the ground, is the subject, has an extension, because it is a non-virtue. If you accept, then there is no need to confess non-virtue. Some say that the characteristics of the first two are, respectively, what should be taken by the noble person, and what should be abandoned by him. If you say so, then the Buddha, the noble one, is the subject, should be virtue, because it is that characteristic, because it is what should be taken by the Bodhisattva noble ones, because it is the ultimate that should be obtained. The obscuration of knowledge in the continuum of the Bodhisattva noble one, is the subject, should be non-virtue, because it is that characteristic, because it is what should be abandoned by the Bodhisattva noble ones. Some say that it is what should be praised by the noble ones, and what should be blamed by him. If you say so, then the Bodhisattva who abides in the path of application, is the subject, should be virtue, because it is that characteristic. If it is not established, then it should be established, because the Buddha noble ones praise, respect, and extol him. The person who has suffered defeat, is the subject, should be non-virtue, because it is that characteristic. If it is not established, then it should be established, because the Buddha noble ones blame him in many ways. Some say that the phrase "whatever is prophesied" is added to the characteristic. If you say so, then the virtue aroused by the mind of the Hinayana, is the subject, should be non-virtue, because it is that characteristic. If it is not established, then it should be established, because it is said in the Ratnakuta Sutra: "Even if one practices the ten virtuous paths for hundreds of millions of kalpas, if one generates the mind of a Hearer or Solitary Realizer, this is the stain of discipline, the destruction of discipline, this generation of mind is even heavier than a Parajika offense." The second is, respectively, whatever is prophesied, abides in the nature of extreme white, and whatever abides in the nature of extreme black, and the dharma that is neither virtue nor non-virtue. Third, some say that the Buddha noble one, is the subject, should be virtue, because it is that characteristic. It should be the former, because it is a pure prophecy, because it is the meaning it explains. If you say so, then on the previous proof of the subject, the person who has become the fruit of the unpolluted uninterrupted path, is the subject, should be the fruit of a Shramana, because it is the fruit of the unpolluted uninterrupted path. The pervasion is established. It cannot be accepted, because it is a person. Second, in terms of synonyms, the Collected Topics says that virtue has thirteen kinds, such as self-nature virtue.
