It has already been said before. Because it is conditioned nature-abiding lineage. If you admit, then the mind consciousness of the outflow will be in the continuum of ordinary people. The self-style is that when the Alaya consciousness is established, it is the nature-abiding lineage, because it has existed since the beginningless. At that time, in the stage of ordinary people, the six aggregates may be interrupted. When the Alaya is not established, the clear and aware part of the mind consciousness in its continuum is the nature-abiding lineage, because its own kind has not been interrupted since the beginningless. Second, regarding the definition. There are two types of negation and establishment. The first is that Redawa said: The definition of the lineage that relies on the Mahayana practice is the nature of the six internal sources that become the basis of the Mahayana practice. So, there is the nature of the eye that becomes the basis of Mahayana practice. Because there is that definition. If you admit, then the nature of the eye of the Mahayana path of seeing is the basis of Mahayana practice. It cannot be admitted, because it is the nature of matter. Also, the nature of the mind consciousness in that continuum, the nature, has that definition. Because it is that which is to be interpreted. It cannot be admitted, because it is not the nature of the eye, because it is not the nature of matter. The second is that any basis of Mahayana practice is included in the nature of the mind or the nature that has existed continuously from the beginningless. The growth lineage is not the basis of Mahayana practice, because it is the actual practice. The third classification is that the Buddha's lineage is divided into two types from the perspective of merit: the nature-abiding lineage and the growth lineage. From the perspective of whether the conditions change or not, there are two types: definite and indefinite lineages. From the perspective of vehicle, there are three types of three vehicles. From the perspective of relying on Dharma practice, there are thirteen types. Therefore, the definition of the nature-abiding lineage is any nature of mind and nature that has existed continuously from the beginningless, which can be transformed into the self-benefiting Dharmakaya when it is free from defilements. If classified, there are conditioned nature-abiding lineage and unconditioned nature-abiding lineage, and the definitions of the two are respectively, continuously from the beginningless.

Whatever is encompassed by the defiled mind, when free from impurities, can be transformed into the Dharmakaya of realized wisdom; and different from that, whatever is encompassed by the nature of mind, when free from impurities, can be transformed into the ultimate Dharmadhatu possessing both purities. Definition of the evolving lineage: The Buddha-nature that arises from being properly taken up by conditions, when free from impurities, manifests as the Rupakaya and benefits sentient beings. Regarding the basis of its definition, Dar Tika Pa says: It is established by reason that on the mind, there is the potential to be free from impurities and to generate uncontaminated wisdom. And since these two can be established through the condition of hearing and can be nourished by the condition of hearing, it is called the lineage that arises from being properly taken up by conditions. The Mind-Only school considers the naturally abiding lineage to be intrinsic, while the Madhyamaka school considers the naturally abiding lineage to be imputed and the evolving lineage to be intrinsic, as Arya Vimuktisena asserts. So, does the potential to generate uncontaminated wisdom exist in the continuum of all sentient beings? Or does it exist in the continuum of some sentient beings and not in the continuum of others? If according to the first case, then that (potential) is the subject, it should follow that it has existed since beginningless samsara, because it exists in the continuum of all sentient beings. If you accept that, then it should follow that it is not established by the condition of hearing. Furthermore, that (potential) is the subject, it should follow that you do not exist in the continuum of a person who has temporarily lost their roots of virtue, because you are the evolving lineage. The reason for the negation is accepted. If according to the second case, then the person who does not possess that (potential) in their continuum is the subject, it should follow that uncontaminated wisdom cannot arise in your continuum, because your continuum does not have the potential to generate it. If you accept that, then it should follow that such a person does not exist. Furthermore, in the Commentary on the Twenty Thousand Verses of the Prajnaparamita, it says: 'Its lineage is imputed, and this is intrinsic, therefore...' This should imply that the potential to generate uncontaminated wisdom is the imputed naturally abiding lineage and the evolving lineage is intrinsic, because Arya Vimuktisena asserts that. Accepted. If you accept that, then 'and this is intrinsic, therefore...' should imply that the naturally abiding lineage in the phrase 'is the basis for practice' is not indicated.
