Then, that is an ordinary being. Which one is a Mahayana ordinary being? If that is a Mahayana ordinary being, then it must be an ordinary being. If the latter is not established, then it follows that if one is a Mahayana practitioner on the path of joining, then one must be a practitioner on the path of joining. If it is not established, then, with the realization of a Hearer Arhat as a precursor, a Bodhisattva abiding in the forbearance of suffering Dharma-wisdom on the path of seeing, Dharma, should not be a person abiding in the first moment of the path of seeing, because it is not actually produced from its own cause, the path of joining. Thesis. If so, then is the manifest yoga that realizes the selflessness of persons in the continuum of a Bodhisattva on the accumulation path, whose realization is preceded by that, the Mahayana accumulation path? Answer: Yes, because it is the complete combination in the continuum of a Mahayana practitioner on the accumulation path, because that is the wisdom that cultivates the aspect of the base consciousness in that continuum. However, it and the basis of the liberation portion that accords with the realization of the selflessness of phenomena are not the same, because that is the wisdom that realizes the selflessness of phenomena in the manner of a general meaning. This is exactly the intention of Tsongkhapa's commentary. If that Dharma is the base consciousness because it is manifest yoga, then it is not pervasive in the case of the lower path, just as if one considers that person to be an ordinary being, then a person who has abandoned afflictive obscurations must be a noble being, which is not pervasive. Moreover, if one considers that to be a noble being, then a person who has abandoned afflictive obscurations must be any one of the four noble beings, which is also not pervasive. Third, based on the scripture "all beings," the debate about whether all sentient beings attain Buddhahood or not has three aspects: refutation, establishment, and abandonment. The first is that Redawa said: All sentient beings cannot attain Buddhahood. If they do, then the time when all sentient beings have attained Buddhahood must exist, because they all attain Buddhahood. If you admit that, then the time when the activity of the Buddha is cut off must exist, the time when the object of the Buddha's compassion does not exist must exist, and the enjoyment body that does not possess the retinue of noble Bodhisattvas must exist, because of admitting that. After refuting in this way, his own school believes that it is not certain that they will attain Buddhahood, because the wisdom of the Buddha is not certain to arise in that continuum, because the cause of that, the accumulation, is not complete, because there are persons who crave enjoyment. So he says.

Then, sentient beings will definitely either become Buddhas or not become Buddhas. Because there are sentient beings who become Buddhas, but sentient beings do not pervade becoming Buddhas. If you admit, then the time when all sentient beings who become Buddhas have already become Buddhas will exist, because they are those who become Buddhas. Admit the pervasion. If you admit, then the time when the activity of the Buddhas ceases will exist, because sentient beings who do not become Buddhas will not receive the activity of the Buddhas. Admit the pervasion. The time when all noble Bodhisattvas have already become Buddhas will exist, because they will all become Buddhas. If you admit, then a Sambhogakaya that does not possess a retinue of noble Bodhisattvas will exist. Furthermore, does the meaning of the complete collection of causes refer to the existence of the Mahayana mind of enlightenment in the continuum, or does it refer to the main factor of the immediate cause being a slightly clear and aware mind, and the main factor of the accompanying condition being the ability to receive the activity of the Buddhas? If it is the former, then the Arhats of the Hearers and Solitary Realizers will not become Buddhas, because their continuum does not have the Mahayana mind of enlightenment. If you admit, then it will ultimately lead to the establishment of the Three Vehicles, and the tenets that other yogis will also attain Buddhahood, etc., will not be established. If it is the latter, then all sentient beings will have a complete collection of causes for the wisdom of the Buddhas in their continuum, because their continuum possesses both of these. Therefore, the meaning of the complete collection of causes does not refer to the completeness of the prior and posterior moments of the collection of causes, because if it were so, the complete collection of causes would be impossible. Second, all sentient beings will become Buddhas, because all sentient beings have the cause of the Buddha-nature in their continuum, the favorable condition is the ability to receive the activity of the Buddhas, and the unfavorable condition is the ability to eliminate obscurations. The first reason is established, because the Uttaratantra states: "The complete Buddha-body, because of radiating light, and because of the undifferentiatedness of Suchness, and because of having the lineage, all embodied beings, constantly possess the Tathagatagarbha." The second reason is established, because the complete Buddha needs to benefit sentient beings until samsara is empty. The third reason is established, if the obscurations cannot be eliminated, then because they are permanent, they cannot be eliminated.
