Firstly, the assertion that Prajñāpāramitā exists on the path of learning has already been refuted. Secondly, it is also unreasonable because there is a fault of repetition in wisdom and knowledge, and because there is no definitive conclusion in the ultimate sense. Secondly, from the occasion of "The Perfection of Wisdom is," the directly indicated Prajñāpāramitā is considered to be without distinguishing between what is real and what is not, because all eight Abhisamayas are the Prajñāpāramitā of this occasion, because all eight Abhisamayas are the Mother in the phrase "I prostrate to that Mother." This is pervasive, because it is explained in the commentaries that that Mother is praised by way of the three wisdoms, and that she is explained by way of the eight Abhisamayas. In general, Mother and Prajñāpāramitā are not the same, because the former accomplishes the intentions of her own noble sons, and from the aspect of generation, there are also those with characteristics on the path of learning; while the latter is established from the aspect of utmost perfection, therefore it exists only in the realm of the Buddhas. The basis for the application of these two terms is the same, because the sound of both of these can be applied to all three: the Prajñāpāramitā of scripture, path, and result. Therefore, the Prajñāpāramitā in this context has two types: Prajñāpāramitā with characteristics and imputed Prajñāpāramitā. The first is the Abhisamayas that include omniscience and the Dharmakāya of the result, and the latter is the other six Abhisamayas and the Prajñāpāramitā scriptures. The reason for applying these two is that the former is the cause for obtaining Prajñāpāramitā, and the latter is because it shows that as the object to be expressed. The necessity of imputation is to cherish the meaning of Prajñāpāramitā, thereby practicing the former, and to know that it is necessary to listen and contemplate the latter. The harm to the real is because the characteristics are not complete. The complete stages of the accumulation and joining stages, etc., are imputed Prajñāpāramitā, but are not considered to be the Prajñāpāramitā of the path. Therefore, the definition of Prajñāpāramitā is: whatever wisdom that distinguishes all dharmas, is that which has gone beyond the four existences. In the Great Commentary, it says: The non-dual, illusion-like wisdom of the Buddha, the Bhagavan, is real, and by the very fact of obtaining it and conforming to it, the scriptures of collections of words and speech, and the paths with characteristics such as the path of seeing, are also called Prajñāpāramitā, which is imputed.

From the venerable teacher Dignāga: Prajñāpāramitā is non-dual, That wisdom is the Tathāgata, Because it possesses the meaning to be accomplished, Therefore, in the scriptures, it is called 'that.' Thus it is said. Therefore, it should be determined that all three aspects related to 'that,' both with and without form, are indeed Prajñāpāramitā itself. This is taking the principal as the dominant factor. It is not merely those, because without this, it will not arise, so it is said to be taking all three Bodhis as the dominant factor. Thus it is said. The third view is that some people think that the path of seeing of a Bodhisattva should be like this. Because it has that characteristic. If the latter is not established, then it should be like this. Because it is the basis consciousness that does not abide in samsara and nirvana. If someone says: If the basis consciousness that can suppress the extreme of peace with the power of compassion, then it should pervade the attainment of ultimate peace. If it is the basis consciousness that does not abide in samsara and nirvana, then it should pervade the transcendence of the basis of samsara. If you admit, then the path of seeing of a Bodhisattva should be like this. Because of that reason. If you admit, then it should follow that ultimate nirvana is attained. In the section "All-knowingness is the path knowledge itself," there are two types of investigation: examining the boundaries of the three knowledges and examining the characteristics. The first is divided into three: refutation, establishment, and abandonment. The first is further divided into four: refuting the existence of all-knowingness in the path of learning, refuting the existence of path knowledge in the paths of accumulation and preparation, refuting the establishment of the three knowledges on different individuals, and refuting other ways of establishing the three knowledges on the Buddha's ground. The first is that some people think that the path of seeing of the Mahayana should be all-knowingness, because it is the wisdom that directly realizes the selflessness of phenomena. Also, all-knowingness should exist in the continuum of the Mahayana path of seeing. Because the Mahayana path of seeing abides in its own all-knowingness, thereby establishing other beings to be tamed. When explaining the aspect of the Mahayana path of seeing, it says: "In the nature of all-knowingness, one abides oneself and establishes beings." Thus it is said. If it is said like this, then successively the path of seeing of the Mahayana should be a deluded consciousness. Because it is the consciousness that directly realizes the selflessness of delusion. In the stage of the Mahayana path of preparation, there should be the complete destruction of the latent tendencies of obscurations. Because the practitioner of the path of preparation, in the stage of non-regression, can destroy all latent tendencies, and thus it is said.
