Therefore, the aspect of consciousness is directly shown. The teaching says: Because the sky has no object. Therefore, the aspect of meaning is directly shown. In the treatise it says: By the distinction of the base consciousness, the characteristic called aspect. By the distinction of the four truths, it is considered as the four aspects. Therefore, the aspect of meaning is directly shown. By the distinction of consciousness, the aspect is the nature of what is to be known. Because omniscience is of three aspects, it is considered as the three aspects. Therefore, it is said to directly show the aspect of consciousness. 'Bre Arna said: In the case of brief instruction, the aspect of consciousness is directly shown, and the aspect of meaning is shown implicitly. In the detailed explanation, it is said to be shown in the opposite way. First, in the case of 'generating the mind is for the benefit of others,' both the Mahayana mind generation and the Hinayana mind generation are directly shown. Because that very treatise directly shows the Mahayana mind generation, and the treatise 'generating the mind is for one's own benefit, desiring temporary enlightenment' directly shows the Hinayana mind generation. The pervasion is accepted. To this, someone says: There is no connection, because there is no such treatise. Then, your that has absolutely no connection, because there is no such treatise. Similarly, in the case of 'this shore, the other shore, not the edge,' both the base consciousness that does not abide in existence and peace and the base consciousness that abides in it are directly shown. Because that treatise directly shows the base consciousness that does not abide in existence and peace, and 'this shore, the other shore, is the edge, that which abides between them, because it does not know the equality of time and aspect, is considered as prajnaparamita' directly shows the base consciousness that abides in existence and peace. In short, because those treatises are not actually there, they are not suitable for direct showing, and what exists in the attainment of meaning is the same for all. Second, that commitment is not reasonable, because the way of showing the brief instruction treatise and the detailed explanation treatise are the same. To this, someone says: In the fifth chapter, in the case of briefly instructing realization, directly showing that the object of imputation, the person, is held as substantially existent and imputedly existent, and implicitly showing that the basis of imputation, the dharma, is held as substantially existent and imputedly existent, in the detailed explanation, it is unreasonable to show the opposite, because the thought of the fifth chapter

Because the treatises of summary exposition and detailed explanation both explain in the same way. If it is said that the earlier thesis is arranged, then, the two treatises of the fourth chapter, the way they explain the basis of aspects is not the same, it becomes an absurd consequence. The two treatises of the fifth chapter, the way they explain the object of conceptualization is not the same, it becomes an absurd consequence. The scope of the pervasion and the arrangement boundary of the thesis are acknowledged. If it is not established, then, because in the summary exposition of the fifth chapter's conceptualization, the object of conceptualization is explained as a person, while in the detailed explanation, its object is explained as a dharma. If the root is accepted, then it cannot be established, because the basis of the aspects in the summary exposition is explained as a basis. Even in the detailed explanation, the basis of the aspects in the summary exposition is explained as the four truths. Furthermore, from the section "Starting from the aspect of non-existence," the twenty-seven aspects that are directly explained are only the aspect of objects among the two, the aspect of objects and the aspect of consciousness, because that treatise directly explains only the aspect of objects among the two. If it is accepted, then, from that section, the twenty-seven aspects that are directly explained are not the aspects of the base consciousness, because of accepting that. If it is accepted, then the one hundred and seventy-three aspects of the three knowledges would be non-existent. Moreover, the difference between the one hundred and seventy-three aspects being the aspect of objects and the aspects of the three knowledges being the aspect of consciousness is reasonable, because the directly explained aspect of the detailed explanation of aspects is the aspect of objects, and the difference between the aspects of the section "Omniscience itself is due to the three aspects" being the aspect of consciousness is reasonable. The thesis is acknowledged. Secondly, both the summary exposition of aspects and the detailed explanation directly explain the aspect of consciousness, because in the section of the summary exposition of aspects, the distinction of the wisdom of the base consciousness is explained as the characteristic of aspects, and its division is divided into the three divisions of the three knowledges. The three treatises of detailed explanation explain in detail the respective aspects of the three knowledges. Thirdly, some say that from the section "Starting from the aspect of non-existence," the aspect of objects is directly explained, because the aspect of non-existence is directly explained there. Again, it becomes an absurd consequence there, because when explaining the aspect of the truth of the path, the aspect of dreams is directly explained. Also, from the section "Starting from the four mindfulnesses," the aspect of objects is directly explained, because there, likewise
