Therefore, the common characteristics of the two are shown through the method of entering by eliminating sound. Therefore, the verse "Having the object of eliminating others" and so on, shows the method of entering by eliminating both sound and concept. From "Since the nature of things is one" to "If that is not, it will not be possible", it explains that those objects that sound and concept enter are not the substantial generalities as desired by the outsiders, but the objects of eliminating others that are fabricated by concept, thus showing the characteristics of eliminating the object. Through the verse "Since there is no nature of non-things" and so on, the elimination of others of non-things is shown incidentally. Third, the sign of the nature that must be determined for what, namely nature, characteristics, and differences, is explained from "Since it is not made, it will not be destroyed." Fourth, for the valid cognition that determines its connection, there are two kinds of reasons: the independent reason and the harmful reason. The first is explained from "Since there is no cause, it will be destroyed" to "It also changes in nature to others." The second is that in the context of refuting the Carvakas, whatever is appropriate will arise, and the way in which independent destruction does not depend on the cause also arises in the context of refuting the Carvakas. The second is divided into two: determining the connection of one entity and determining the connection of its occurrence. In the first, the connection of establishing terms is that the two, name and referent, are also mistaken as one in meaning, and it is established by establishing the term of one entity, but in reality it is not one. The connection between the general and the particular is also established by establishing the term of one entity in the one-sided reversal and the two-sided reversal, but in reality it has been prevented from being the same substance. The connection of establishing meaning is that, in terms of eliminating permanent dharmas, although the reversals are different, how is it actually established as one? In this regard, there are two ways: establishing the root sign and establishing its method. The first is, "The existence of nature and the nature of having a connection also" and "Destruction exists and has a connection, therefore sound is impermanent" and so on, it is said that existence is established as a sign in most cases in the scriptures. In the case of "Destruction has fruit and existence are the same", there are two ways of establishing the fruit as a sign and establishing existence as a sign.

So it is said. Regarding the meaning of these, the 'Rigter Rangdrel' (Commentary on the Treatise on Reasoning) states: It is permissible to establish either 'existent' or 'produced.' However, some do not accept that atoms, self, Ishvara, and the Vedas, etc., are produced, fearing that the reason will not be established in their minds. Therefore, it is stated that it is 'because it exists,' because they themselves also accept that these exist. Moreover, it is impossible for that 'existent' not to be produced by causes and conditions. Therefore, if it is later established in their minds that it is produced, it can be established by stating 'because it is produced.' So it is said. Here, some argue that if sound exists as it is, it is necessarily impermanent, which is slightly inconvenient in Tibetan terminology. Because when establishing that sound is impermanent, the 'existent' and 'thing' that are established as reasons have one Sanskrit term, 'bhava' (bhava,梵文天城体:भव,梵文罗马拟音:bhava,汉语字面意思:existence), in India. Therefore, in some places it is translated as 'thing,' and in some places as 'existent.' However, according to Sel (a place name), the former translators often used the term 'existent' even for 'existent,' because: The general 'existent' is greatly proclaimed. And, because it exists in all negations. And, the identity of similar negations. Is 'existence itself.' The 'Rigter' (Treatise on Reasoning) also states: That which is the negation of non-self-nature. That which exists in all things. So it is said. Some establish it as 'because it exists in the thing,' and 'because it exists in the meaning,' and 'because it exists in its own essence.' However, if both 'thing' and 'existent' are established, there is the fault of repeating the word, and there is also the fault of becoming a reason that depends on a difference. Therefore, establishing it as 'because it is a thing' is what accords with the meaning. Considering this, the 'Rigter Rangdrel' (Commentary on the Treatise on Reasoning) states: The characteristic of existent is the ability to perform a function, As stated by Dharmakirti, that is it. So it is said. Therefore, whatever is produced or a thing, is necessarily impermanent. Like a pot, for example. Sound is also produced or a thing. Of these two combinations, the former depends on a difference, and the latter is naturally pure. Secondly, of the two, establishing the property of the subject and establishing pervasion, the first is: That sound arises from its own cause is ascertained by direct perception, inference, and scripture, etc. From that reason, it is ascertained as produced, and from the reason of being able to perform a function, it is ascertained as a thing. Second,
