Because it was not indicated. Alternatively, the cognition that focuses on all the clear trees and grasps the general characteristic of a tree, thinking "it is a tree," is the subject. It should be that definition, because it is exclusion and inclusion. If you accept, then it should be not that, because it is the cognition that focuses on all the clear trees and grasps the general characteristic of a tree. Also, some say that whatever has that dharma as its object, when that dharma is its object, whatever takes as its object all the dharmas that are one in essence with that dharma and the established one, is the definition of establishment and inclusion for that dharma. That which is the opposite of that is the definition of exclusion and inclusion for that. Others say, what is made, the subject. You should be the object of sound being impermanent, because you are the exclusion and inclusion of that, because you are the correct reason that pervades that. The pervasion is accepted. The self-commentary says, "It only realizes the distinction between sound and reason," and "Therefore, it is widely proclaimed to be the object of such exclusion of reason." And, "When distinguishing one mixed meaning, sound or reason is the only one. Doer and deed." It is not reasonable to say that, the non-conceptual, non-mistaken awareness, the subject. You should be the exclusion and inclusion of being the valid cognition of the root direct perception that grasps blue, because you are the correct reason that pervades that. The pervasion is accepted. It cannot be accepted, because it is the establishment and inclusion of that, because you are direct perception, whatever is your object. Those three scriptures show that inference based on reason is exclusion and inclusion, because it is the time when the reason distinguished by sound is shown to be exclusion and inclusion. The former is also not reasonable, the wisdom that directly realizes selflessness, the subject. It should be able to take as its object all the dharmas that are one in essence with selflessness and established bliss, because it is the establishment and inclusion of that, because it is direct perception. If you accept, then it should be able to take as its object all the dharmas that arise and cease simultaneously with that, because you accept that. It cannot be accepted, because you are direct perception, whatever does not exist. Some say that whatever has that dharma as its object, that which does not include that dharma by establishment, is the definition of exclusion and inclusion for that dharma. Whatever does not include that dharma by exclusion, is said to be the definition of establishment and inclusion for that dharma. It is not reasonable, valid cognition, the subject. It should be the exclusion and inclusion of a pot, because of that definition. It cannot be accepted.

Yes, because you and the vase have a common basis of manifestation. Furthermore, that phenomenon, it is reasonable for it to be an establisher, because it possesses that characteristic. It cannot be admitted, because you and it have a common basis of distinction. Also, some say, whatever enters into a tree, when a tree is taken as an object, whatever sound conceptualization cannot take all phenomena that are of the same established and comfortable substance as its object, that is the characteristic of eliminative entry. Whatever, when it takes that as an object, through the way of taking all phenomena that are of the same established and comfortable substance as its object, makes that self-character appear as an object, that is the characteristic of affirmative entry for it. In general, the characteristics of eliminative entry and affirmative entry are, respectively, whatever sound conceptualization does not take the self-character as the actual object but takes the general character as the actual object. Taking the self-character as the actual object, and the common basis that is not any sound conceptualization. This is not reasonable, because the root consciousness that appears to see a tree moving, for the tree, it is reasonable to be the outer side, because for it it is affirmative entry, because for it it is a non-conceptual consciousness. If admitted, then for it it is reasonable to be direct perception, because for it it is a root consciousness that is so. It cannot be admitted, because for it it is a non-conceptual mistaken consciousness. Furthermore, the root consciousness that sees two moons, it is reasonable to take the self-character as the actual object, because it is affirmative entry, because it is a non-conceptual consciousness. It cannot be admitted, because it is a non-conceptual mistaken consciousness. Furthermore, in the part of the characteristic of affirmative entry, it is unreasonable to say that apart from taking the self-character as the actual object, it is a common basis that is not any sound conceptualization, because if the self-character is taken as the actual object, then it must not be any sound conceptualization, which is established in meaning, and you yourself have already admitted it. The second part has two aspects: characteristic and division. The first part is, therefore, possessing an object that eliminates others, and it is established by expressing distinctions. Because this shows eliminative entry, therefore possessing an object of entry through distinguishing different types, that is the characteristic of eliminative entry, as it is said in the "Treasury of Types": Entering after cutting off the contradiction, is considered to possess an object that eliminates others. Because it is said so. In that, "having independent grasping" shows affirmative entry, therefore not relying on distinguishing different types, but merely the appearance of
