Firstly, those two should not become valid results. Secondly, there should be no need for subsequent wisdom. The valid result of the logician is also unreasonable. Eye consciousness, as a phenomenon, when you recognize the shape of a vase, you should also recognize its smell, because the sense organ that is your primary cause, being a form, has no difference in encountering the two. The valid result of the Vaibhashika is also unreasonable. Eye sense, as a phenomenon, you should not be able to distinguish the difference between recognizing blue and recognizing yellow, because you are the cause of both the sense consciousness that recognizes yellow and the sense consciousness that recognizes blue without any difference. Secondly, the basis for the activity of the object-possessing valid cognition, the actual activity, and the reason for engaging in the activity, that is, the three aspects of action on the valid cognition, are established as the three: valid cognition, result, and object of valid cognition. Among them, the object of valid cognition is the basis for engaging in the activity, such as blue. The result is the actual activity, such as recognizing blue. The valid cognition is the reason for engaging in the activity, such as the appearance of blue. Therefore, valid cognition and result are cause and effect that are established separately, but not cause and effect of arising and arising. In the "Autocommentary on the Sutra", it says: "Regarding this, the outsiders think that apart from valid cognition, the result does not become another meaning." Here also it says: "Relying on that separate establishment, all parts are established as what is to be proven and what proves." In the "Treasure of Reasoning", it says: "Therefore, for the two, cause and effect, of separate establishment, it is considered valid result." Here, valid cognition and the prover, the agent, the characteristic, and the establisher are synonymous with the same meaning, and the result and the proven, the action, the signified, and the established are synonymous with the same meaning. Action mainly refers to the object of valid cognition, and sometimes it also refers to the action, because the action in "all actions are the prover" refers to the action. Therefore, here the object of valid cognition has two: object and knowledge; the result has two: object consciousness and self-consciousness; the valid cognition has two: appearance and grasping. When grasping is taken as valid cognition, the result is self-consciousness.

Although it is not certain. If the apprehended aspect is taken as valid cognition, then the result is not necessarily object-cognition. If the apprehended aspect is taken as valid cognition to establish the understanding of the object, then object-cognition arises in the result. If the understanding of the aspect that appears directly to oneself is established, then self-cognition arises in the result. Why is the result of the valid cognition of yogic direct perception not explained? These results of valid cognition are established in terms of the valid cognition that is universally known, just like self-knowing and other-knowing. Second, the individual distinctions of the results of valid cognition are: there appear to be three major traditions regarding the terminology of the results of valid cognition. Master Dharmakirti designated the result of valid object-cognition as the first, the result of valid self-cognition as the second, and the result of valid self-cognition when external objects exist as the third. Although it seems to be widely known in all of Tibet nowadays, if it is done in a way that includes all types of results of valid cognition, then, "From its nature, the object is ascertained." If one asks where the results of valid cognition taught by the root text and commentary (of the Pramāṇavārttika) are incomplete, one must point with one's finger. Master Devendrabuddhi said, "It accomplishes the action," etc. He does not use the term "first" for the meaning of these, but rather refutes it. Among the three results of valid cognition according to the Mind-Only school, the first is: "Therefore, one has two ways," as taught by (the Pramāṇavārttika). The second is: "When consciousness is the object by way of cause," etc., as taught by (the Pramāṇavārttika). The third is: "Even if external objects exist," etc., as taught by (the Pramāṇavārttika). As it is said, if one examines the Mind-Only school, it is good to divide the result of valid self-cognition, and the result of valid object-cognition in name only, and further examine it into self-cognition as the result and three types. However, it is slightly not good that the previous result of valid object-cognition is not included in the category of results of valid cognition, and that the third result of valid cognition is considered to be the view of the Mind-Only school, because these treatises are the displayers of the results of valid cognition of the previous three types of direct perception. If one examines the Sautrāntika school, it would be a fault to not have treatises that display self-cognition as the result. Some people think that in this teacher's view, "When consciousness," etc., says that object-cognition is the result, therefore comparing and explaining the meaning of the first result of valid cognition, and the apprehended and apprehender consciousness, is just like the Mind-Only school. As it is said,
