If it is said that even if the obstacle to the mind residing in the body, the poison, is reversed, the mind cannot be restored, just as when the fire is extinguished, the change in the wood cannot be restored to wood. Then, the change of the body, as a subject, you are not like burnt wood, impossible to be cured, because you have a way to be cured. This is pervasive, because the cause of producing change has two types: the change that cannot be reversed and the cause that produces reversible change. The first is irreversible, and the latter is reversible. For example, the change that fire makes to wood and the change that it makes to gold. (Tibetan seed syllable) ཅུངཾ་. Then, does this contradict the description in the medical treatises of patients who cannot be cured? Such a statement is not intended to refer to patients who die solely from the harm of the disease, but rather to refer to the difficulty in finding favorable conditions for treating the disease, or to the exhaustion of the patient's lifespan. Third, (Tibetan seed syllable) ཤིཾ། Is the dead body free from poison and disease, etc.? The dead body with the flesh of the wound containing poison cut off, as a subject, the mind exists, because the favorable conditions for the mind to exist are complete and it is free from obstacles. The second part has four points: If it is the immediate cause, then restoration is established. If there is no restoration, then it is not the immediate cause. These two should be understood in relation to the specific situation. Coexistence and contradiction should be avoided. First, (Tibetan seed syllable) ཉེརཾ། If the cause of the immediate cause does not change, then the effect of the immediate cause will not change, just as if the clay does not change, the pottery will not change. Second, (Tibetan seed syllable) དངོཾས། If the cause does not change, and the effect is the cause of that change, then that effect must not be the immediate cause of that cause, just as the cow does not change, but the milk changes, the reason is that the cow is not the immediate cause of the milk. Third, (Tibetan seed syllable) སེམཾས། The mind, as a subject, the body is not your immediate cause, because the body does not change, but you do change. Fourth, if the body and mind are not the relationship of immediate cause and immediate effect, then coexistence is contradictory, (Tibetan seed syllable) དཾེ། The body and mind of sentient beings, as a subject, do not coexist because they are the relationship of immediate cause and immediate effect, but because they coexist by relying on the aggregation of the same material basis. For example, the melting of copper and heat

Thus. The third has two: refuting the thesis, refuting the opponent's answer. The first is: Exists (Tibetan: ཡོདཾ།). The body, subject, should not be the substantial support of mind and intellect, because it is neither the substantial support of mind and intellect that exists at its own time, nor is it the substantial support of mind and intellect that does not exist at its own time. The second has four: refuting dependence in the manner of already established abiding, refuting the valid example that establishes already established abiding, by that reason also refuting other already established abiding, extensively explaining that the cause of abiding refutes abiding. The first has two: refuting by analysis, refuting by extreme consequence. The first is: Exists (Tibetan: ཡོདཾ།). If it is said that the first reason is not established, this (Tibetan: འདིཾ།). The body, subject, is not the cause of the mind's abiding, because the mind's abiding, being one substance with the mind, is also unreasonable, and being a different substance from it is also unreasonable. If the first is not established, the mind, subject, your abiding is not produced by the body, because you and the mind are one substance. If the second is not established, the body, subject, you have not caused the mind to abide, because you are a phenomenon other than the mind, merely the cause of the mind's abiding. The second has two: refuting the thesis, refuting the fault-finding. The first is: Destroys (Tibetan: འཇིཾག). The mind, subject, should not be destroyed, because there is the cause of abiding without destruction, the body abiding constantly. The second is: If (Tibetan: གལཾ།) it is said that although the body causes the mind not to be destroyed, there is no fault because the mind is destroyed by the cause of destruction. The later cause of destruction, phenomenon, should not be the cause of the mind's destruction, because the mind's destruction is neither one substance with the mind nor a different substance. The body, subject, should not be the cause of the mind abiding without destruction, because if the cause of destruction is not encountered, the mind abides without destruction even if you are not present, and if the cause of destruction is encountered, the mind does not abide even if you are present. If (Tibetan: གལཾ།) it is said that there is no fault because the mind is caused to abide without destruction in the interval of encountering the cause of destruction. The mind, subject, that body should not be able to cause you to abide in the interval of encountering the cause of destruction, because you are certain to be destroyed from the moment you are established. The second is: If (Tibetan: གལཾ།) it is said that the body is the support of the mind's already established abiding, there is an example such as a pot being the support of water's already established abiding, and substance being the support of qualities, universals, etc.'s already established abiding, like that. This (Tibetan: འདིཾ།), pot, etc., phenomenon.
