Because of the difference between being different from the possessor of a quality and being different from another possessor of a quality, since it is distinguished by the distinction of not possessing that quality, it will not become without concomitance with other qualities. If it is said that what is made is the subject, it becomes the reason for establishing that sound is impermanent, then what is the reason for establishing that sound is merely impermanent? Because merely being impermanent has already been established. If this is said, what is made is the subject, even if merely being impermanent has already been established, it is not establishing that sound is impermanent, because for that sound, in general, merely being impermanent should be established as a distinction of non-possession. Therefore, merely being impermanent does not have the fault of not having concomitance in the subject-similar example, because it is because the subject sound is distinguished by the distinction of non-possession. Third, merely being impermanent, which is not distinguished by any of sound or pot, is shown as the probandum for establishing that sound is impermanent. This shows that the subject, by what is made on sound, the impermanent quality that is distinguished by the subject sound, etc., and the subject sound that is distinguished by the impermanent qualities, etc., prevents the contradictory sign of establishing that sound is impermanent, because it is shown that what is made on the subject sound does not establish those two distinctions like that. What is made is the subject, for the subject sound, because the collection of sound and impermanence, etc., is eliminated, the reason for establishing that sound is impermanent is not contradictory, because for sound, it is not intended to establish the collection of sound and impermanence like that, because for the subject sound, it is only intended to establish the quality of impermanence. Second, the detailed explanation of oneself is divided into three: explaining the necessity of one's own system, refuting the necessity of other systems, and showing the conclusion of the two, refutation and establishment. The first is divided into three: showing the necessity of one's own sound's determination, explaining the meaning of the determination itself in detail, and showing the summary of the meaning of the established detailed explanation. First: In short, in the definition of what is to be established for the sake of others, the sound of oneself is mentioned, the subject, there is a necessity, because for one subject sound, etc., in the inner and outer treatises, although many qualities such as the qualities of space and impermanence are established, when establishing the probans, the proponent himself wants to establish

Because it is to know that it is what is to be established, not others. The second is divided into two: refuting that other schools consider the meaning of scriptures as what is to be established, and refuting that one's own school considers the meaning of scriptures as what is to be established. The first is divided into two: stating the assertion, and explaining the refutation. The first is: if the opponent, when establishing the argument, must take all the meanings of the scriptures that he has promised as what is to be established, because the opponent has promised the treatise. Therefore, even if a reason like "made" causes great harm to one of the meanings of the scriptures, it will become the fault of contradictory reason and eliminating the vow. The second is divided into three: stating the harm, refuting the establishment, and eliminating the dispute. The first is: when establishing that sound is impermanent, with "made" as the subject, because it prevents the smell from having the property of earth, it will also become a contradictory reason through this way, because preventing the smell from having the property of earth also prevents the meaning of the scriptures. If it is said that even if "made" prevents the smell from having the property of earth, it is not a contradictory reason for establishing that sound is impermanent, because when establishing that sound is impermanent, the smell having the property of earth is not what is to be established at that time, then, "made" as the subject, even if it prevents sound from having the property of space, it will not become a contradictory reason for establishing that sound is impermanent, because what is not to be established is the same for the other property of space. If it is said that because the subject sound is relevant here, so its property, the property of space, is also relevant, therefore preventing it will become a fault, the subject smell is not relevant, therefore preventing its property will not become a fault, then, the rational person as the subject, because the property of space is the property of sound, so preventing it will become a fault, and because the property of earth is not the property of sound, so preventing it will not become a fault, it is impossible to distinguish in this way, because it is promised that the property of space is the meaning of the scriptures, so preventing it will become a fault, even if the smell harms the property of earth, it still causes harm to the meaning of the treatise. If it is said that when establishing that sound is impermanent with "made", the property of space as the subject, is what the opponent considers to be established, because the subject is the property of sound, etc., it is the difference that becomes the same aspect of what is to be established, so it is established with this reason.
