It is so. There are three in the second: The basis of perception is the collection of causes. The reason is the basis of perception. Therefore, the term 'can arise' is established. First, if the non-apprehension of the self-nature is established by what mind, and by what reason is the term 'non-existence can arise' established? The sign of the non-apprehension of the self-nature is the non-apprehension possessed by the agent, which is the perception that holds the basis of negation. From this, the definite understanding of the non-apprehension of the object of negation is drawn by the power of self-cognizant perception, and if the term of certainty of non-existence has no contradictory conditions and possesses favorable conditions, it is drawn by its own power. Conversely, it is shown that it is established by relying on other reasons. For example, a clean place devoid of a pot, you do not perceive the pot as a valid means of cognition, which is established by the power of self-cognizant perception. You are the object of the root consciousness perception, experienced by self-experience and self-cognizant perception, so it is said, 'Is this place visible?' Or 'Is this pot not visible?' Because the definite understanding of the discriminating mind arises. If so, it is appropriate to say 'one is visible,' why is it necessary to say 'experience'? There is a need to say so. The difference and non-difference of meaning are established only by self-existence. However, the consciousness that experiences meaning, due to the special nature of the pot being visible, understands that the meaning of that place is more special than the existence of the pot. The difference and non-difference of consciousness are that the consciousness that focuses on it is established by itself without relying on others. Therefore, it is necessary to understand this necessity. Therefore, the distinction between the difference and non-difference of consciousness is established by the consciousness itself. Those consciousnesses establish the meaning of that consciousness, that is, the difference and non-difference of the meaning that becomes the object. There is no other consciousness that establishes the difference of meaning. The consciousness of such a nature that understands the difference of meaning, the self-cognizance that experiences its own nature, this is the self-nature of consciousness, this is the cause that distinguishes it from other consciousnesses, that is, the discriminator. Because there is no need to distinguish it by other consciousnesses. If the difference of consciousness is not established by itself, but depends on it

If consciousness must be established by other things, then, consciousness, as the subject, your distinction will become endless, because your distinction must be established by other consciousness, and that other consciousness's distinction must also be established by other consciousness in the same way. If admitted, then, therefore, no things and consciousness will be established as separate from each other. These are incidental. Second, when establishing the reason of non-perception of self-nature, the subject, because the visible vase is not perceived, the meaning of this reason is also that the object to be refuted, the visible vase, etc., is different from it, that is, the basis of negation, the place, which is devoid of it, is the direct perception itself, because the basis of negation is different in nature, the sense perception that experiences the absence of the object to be refuted, other than that, the vase is eliminated, that is, the one who prevents is not other, because of this. Third, therefore, this sign of non-perception of self-nature, the subject, is realized from the self-awareness direct perception that experiences itself, because it is the other-awareness direct perception that holds the basis of negation, therefore. Therefore, like "because the vase is visible and not perceived," the sign of non-perception of self-nature, the subject, for the foolish opponent, is the form of the vase not existing on the ground of debate, that is, it is the understanding of the term non-existence, because for the wise opponent, just by existing himself, he does not rely on the sign, but is the direct perception that enters the term of the vase's non-existence. If the non-perception of self-nature is established from one's own experience of self-awareness through the knowledge of perceiving the basis of negation, then, the place devoid of the vase, the subject, will become the endless proof of the vase's non-existence, because the non-existence of things like the vase is realized from the non-perception of the vase, and this is not established by self-awareness, but like the non-perception of the consciousness that perceives the vase, it must be established by other consciousness that the vase's perception does not exist, and this must be established by other non-perceptions, because of this. Second, in this way, other non-perceptions are also established, there are two: the former establishes the non-appearance of non-perception, the latter establishes the perception of the contradictory. First, then, when explaining the divisions of the subject, the example of the sign of non-perception of non-appearance is not shown separately.
