There, most of what appears is the nature of the subject-property. Therefore, for the sake of reasoning and other meanings, first, its classification should be shown. Subject-property with presence or absence in similar instances, and each of the two also has three types; also in dissimilar instances, there are two types of presence or absence. To explain this meaning, first, what is the necessity of dividing the subject-property into nine categories? Answer: To distinguish between correct reasoning and seemingly correct reasoning, it is necessary to briefly summarize the subject-property into nine categories. This is because it is for the purpose of easily understanding the correct way of expressing reasoning through inference for others. Second, if the sign is a property of the subject, then because the subject is distinguished, it does not apply to examples, so it is not permissible to say "present in similar instances," etc. If the subject is not distinguished, then it is not appropriate as a property of the subject. There are three answers to this: explaining the distinction with determination, explaining the distinction without determination, and applying it to the meaning of the specific situation. The first is that the sign is distinguished only by the distinction of not possessing the subject-property, so it shows that there is no fault as stated above. First, the distinction of property, you have three: because you combine the word particle of property, such as "only" or "itself," with different places, so the property does not possess the subject-property, and possesses others, and completely distinguishes impossible situations. For example, like the word particle "sound is only created," combined with the special property, it distinguishes that the property does not possess the subject-property, because it only shows that the property possesses the subject-property. Like the word particle "sound is only audible," combined with the special subject-property, it distinguishes that the property possesses others besides the subject-property, because it only shows that the property exists only in the subject-property. Like the word particle "in some places, smoke is only possible," combined with the possibility of action, it distinguishes that the property is impossible in the subject-property, because it only shows that the property is only possible in the subject-property. Second, then, in order to understand the meaning of distinction, these three word particles

If it is necessary to add particles? If speaking a statement, there is a subject. Even if those particles are not actually added, one can understand the meaning of those three particles, i.e., any kind of distinction, from the context of the speaker, by the power of the intention to express. Because even if particles are not actually added, all statements have the result of understanding any of the three distinctions. The examples of these three in order are, for example, when asked whether a black (thing) is good at jumping or not, answer "a black (thing) is good at jumping," or, when asked which of black and Satyasiddhi is good at jumping, answer "Satyasiddhi is good at jumping," or, when asked whether blue exists on a lotus, answer "blue exists on a lotus." For these three statements without actually adding qualifiers, there is a subject. In order, understanding will also arise for the meanings of their respective opposites, i.e., a black (thing) is not good at jumping, a black (thing) is good at jumping, blue does not exist on a lotus. Distinguishing them like that is because of worldly convention and that kind of ability, and those sounds follow the intention to express wanting to express it that way. Third, because it is only excluding that the reason does not possess the subject, therefore, the property of the reason, the subject. Merely being a special property of the subject does not point out the fault of not being concomitant in similar examples. Because it is only excluding not possessing, therefore it is your special property of the subject, not merely existing in the subject itself. The third part has three points: summarizing and showing the respective necessities of the nine; explaining in detail the two correct ones and what should be heard; explaining the reason for not showing the refutation reason separately. The first point is: if asked, what are the respective necessities of the nine aspects? Sound, the subject. Is impermanent, because it is produced, and because it arises from effort, these are two correct reasons. Sound, the subject. Is permanent, because it is produced, and because it arises from effort, these are two reversed contradictory reasons. The subject. Is necessary, because if both self-nature and result are to prove one's own self-nature and cause, then the reason is correct. And, in order to establish its concomitance, it enters into the similar aspect.
