If harm is done to the dharma (chos can) in question, it will be realized that harm is done to the proposition in question, so there is no need to say "one's own dharma (chos can)." If someone asks, since one's own desired assertion has been shown to be the characteristic of the proposition, it will be understood in that way, then, even if such a meaning is the understanding of the characteristic of the proposition, by saying "one's own dharma (chos can)," there is another need for dharma (chos can). Because not only does harm to the dharma cause harm to the proposition, but harm to the dharma (chos can) in question also causes harm to the proposition, this is because it has an established meaning. The reason for this is that the dependent dharma (chos can) in question is dharma (chos can). If a valid cognition harms you, the valid cognition will harm the proposition in question. Because you are contrary to the valid cognition, that is, you are prevented, therefore the dharma of the proposition that relies on it is contrary to the valid cognition, that is, it will be prevented. Therefore, if harm is done to the dharma (chos can) in question, harm is done to the proposition in question, dharma (chos can). In order for you to understand, it is necessary to say "one's own dharma (chos can)." Because in order for you to understand, if nothing other than saying one's own dharma (chos can) is said, it will be said that the dharma with such a form is the proposition, because by harming the dharma of the proposition itself, the thought arises that harm is done to the proposition in question, and not because harm is done to the dharma (chos can), therefore it is necessary to eliminate it. The third part has three points: showing that there is a wrong conception to be eliminated, explaining the example of that wrong conception, and how to eliminate it. The first point is: if harm is done to the dharma (chos can) in question, then harm to the subject property, isn't this also indirectly established by showing that if harm is done to the dharma, then harm is done to the subject property? Indeed it is, because even if harm is done to the dharma (chos can), harm is done to the dharma. Therefore, if someone asks if there is no need to say "one's own dharma (chos can)," then indeed it is so. Having said "one's own dharma (chos can)," dharma (chos can). You also have other wrong conceptions to be eliminated, because some opponents, even if they do not harm the dharma (chos can) in question, but only deny the dharma (chos can) that is not under discussion, also admit that by denying their own dharma (chos can), they have the fault of contradicting the thesis, therefore in order to eliminate it, you need to say it. The second point is: such a wrong conception, for example, the Vaibhashikas' space and direction,

If someone considers time and so on to be permanent entities, the Buddhist, instead of taking real space etc. as the subject, takes general space etc. as the subject, saying, 'It is not a permanent substance that cannot be produced by other conditions,' thus merely establishing the distinction of dharma. The reason is, 'It is not the cause of producing sounds etc. simultaneously, because it does not produce results simultaneously.' To this, the refuter says, 'If this reason can establish the previous thesis, then it can also establish the nature of the subject, space etc., as non-real.' Therefore, negating that the subject, space etc., is real contradicts the proposition.' It is like saying this. Third, in this case, such a reason, even if the subject, i.e., the subject space etc., being real is excluded, there is no harm to the thesis of wanting to establish the distinction of dharma as a permanent substance merely with the subject space etc. Because even if the subject space etc. being real is excluded, it is still a reason that can establish the distinction of a permanent substance merely with the subject space etc. Therefore, the meaning of 'one's own subject' is that, if the subject, the collection of both the dharma and the subject mentioned at the time, is taken as the thesis, then any harm to the subject at that time will harm the thesis at that time by negating the dharma to be established at that time. Even if it harms the unrelated subject itself, it does not harm the thesis at that time. This actually shows that only the thing that is distinguished as the dharma of one's own thesis is one's own subject, and the subject itself that is not distinguished by the dharma is not the thesis. Second, if harming the subject harms the thesis at that time, then for the Samkhya school, the formulation made by the Buddhist will also harm the thesis. Why? If the Samkhya school believes that the chief, which has the nature of happiness etc., is permanent, the Buddhist takes happiness etc. as the subject, saying, 'It is not permanent, unable to be produced by other conditions, because it is not the cause of producing sounds etc. simultaneously, because it produces its own results sequentially.' Just like before, the refuter says, 'After you have negated that happiness etc. is permanent,'
