It has been said. If it is said that the sound of the moon is established when things with reasons such as camphor exist, then for the one with a rabbit as well, as the subject, the sound of "moon" is inevitably the case, because the thing with reason is established. If the thing with reason does not exist on the one with a rabbit, then for the one with a rabbit, as the subject, even if the sound of "moon" is reversed, there is no fault of contradicting fame, because there is no thing with reason. Because the sound with reason is used without reason, fame does not cause harm. The third part has four points: What is said by desire pervades all, If that is blocked, fame harms, Blocking other sounds does not harm, Therefore, it is reasonable to show separately. The first point is: Even if one prevents the sound with reason from being used without reason, fame does not cause harm, therefore, the arbitrary sound that is expressed without relying on the certainty of the thing with reason, as the subject, all the suitability of the phenomena arising from you, that is, all the things that you can express are themselves, because the cause of your entry, that is, the desire to express, has no hindrance to entering all objects of knowledge. If the phrase "in some cases" has been mentioned above in the Pramāṇaviniścaya and the commentary of Lha, and the above text does not exist in those two, then it is explained that way. If the above text exists in the Alaṃkāra, then if it is quoted and explained here, if "in some cases", that is, only on the one with a rabbit can it be established to be expressed by the sound of the moon, then the sound of the moon, as the subject, should not be used merely through expression, but must be established by the power of the thing with reason. If you admit that it is established by fame, then even if it is not a rabbit, you will inevitably enter, it seems that it should be explained this way. The second point is: For any expressive meaning that cannot be prevented, the inference called fame produced by people, as the subject, preventing some things from being expressed by arbitrary sounds, you will cause harm, because all things are the measure of objects that can be expressed by arbitrary sounds. Preventing anything that can be expressed by arbitrary sounds, the inference of fame will cause harm, which shows that for arbitrary sounds that merely follow expression, the meaning of expression

It is said that there is not only one certainty. To show that preventing those conventional sounds from referring to things like rabbits is contrary to friendship. Third, by showing that conventional sounds do not necessarily refer to only one thing, it is shown that for the Dharma, preventing the unreasoned thing from becoming the expressible meaning of the reasoned sound, that is, preventing the true expressible meaning of sounds, that is, the thing itself, is not harmed by the fame arising from sound. This is because fame only harms the obstruction to which conventional sounds refer. Fourth, when explaining the fundamental differences of eliminators, if the fame of inference becomes non-inference because fame is distinguished from inference, then fame only harms the expressible meaning obstructed by conventional sounds. Therefore, even though fame is not completely separated from inference, it is necessary to distinguish it from the inference arising from the power of things. This is because the object of fame is dependent on expressible meaning, and the object of inference from the power of things is the thing itself, in order to show that the difference in objects exists. Just as before, credible inference was distinguished from inference from the power of things from the perspective of the object. Third, explaining the necessity of explaining the method of harm in detail: In this chapter, 'For the Benefit of Others,' it is necessary for the teacher to elaborate on the examples of refuting credibility and fame with sufficient reason. Even if both credibility and fame are considered inferences, they are distinguished from inferences arising from the power of things because scriptures and self-utterances harm self-contradictory vows through the power of being acknowledged as valid means of cognition, not through the power of things themselves. And the fame arising from sound, whose nature arises only from intention, therefore, conventional sounds harm the obstruction of expressible meaning. In order to show that these two necessities exist. In short, 'There are no valid means of cognition with measurable meaning,' which is only to harm by oath, and by the fame arising from sound.
