Because relying on valid cognition can accomplish the desired meaning. For extremely obscure things, as a subject of analysis, when you analyze it, you must acknowledge scriptural valid cognition as valid cognition, because if you do not acknowledge treatises as valid cognition when analyzing it, then you yourself cannot be established, therefore the analysis of you cannot be carried out at all. Third, if for the realm of direct perception, scriptural valid cognition is not valid cognition and there is no harm, then is it not necessary for the valid cognition that enters through the power of things to examine the meaning of the scriptures? It is not so, the valid cognition that enters through the power of things examines this scripture, as a subject of analysis, it is necessary, because most scriptures express content that contradicts commitments, for example, showing that the three poisons such as attachment are the root of misdeeds, and that bathing can purify the sins of misdeeds, and some scriptures do not contradict commitments, in order to understand the meaning of these scriptures. So, what is the necessity of analyzing in this way? It is possible to analyze whether there are internal contradictions in the meaning of the scriptures by the valid cognition of the power of things, and there are other necessities, when explaining the manifest that is seen, the obscure that is not seen, and the extremely obscure, it is established by the reasoning of direct perception and the power of things, and any treatise that is not harmed by the words of the scriptures themselves should be regarded as the basis for measuring extremely obscure things. Second, explaining the refutation of fame, divided into two parts: The first way of explaining is that there is no harm, no competitor. The second way of explaining is that the distinction of the object is established. The first part is divided into two parts: explaining the meaning of no harm, explaining the meaning of no competitor. The first part is divided into five aspects: showing that what can be said pervades everything, showing that it itself harms fame, if what can be said is blocked, it will cause harm, even if there is no fame, what can be said can be established, therefore it is established that there is no harm. First, in short, for inferences that have no commonality, they do not exist, because the meaning that contradicts the fame arising from sound, therefore refutation is also not a subject, for example, saying that the one with a rabbit is not the moon, because it exists. As it is said, in order to explain this meaning in sequence, first, with arbitrary sounds, it is shown that what can be said pervades everything, although what can be said is not the self-characteristic of fame, but here

Since this is the occasion for establishing harm by fame as harm. For this, the reason for naming it with the name of fame, and since what can be said has proof, what can be said harms what cannot be said, and since what cannot be said has no proof, it does not harm what can be said, all these are said to mean without harm. Some of the former, elsewhere here is harm. When saying this, a sutra was quoted, so it is intended to explain from that point onwards. In the Pramāṇaviniścaya, it says: In the old commentary here, fame also harms the proposition with the meaning of contradiction, and, for this, that is the end of the establishment, summarizing the meaning of the previous establishment. To what is not common, etc., contradicts the quoted sutra. The meaning of the treatise is that the sound phenomena of arbitrary moon, etc., which are related to the wishes of individuals, you should believe and trust in the language where there is no harm in applying to any meaning, because you are able to become the meaning of what is said, because there is no prohibition for all meanings. The second is that fame has two types: fame that can be said and fame of name. First, the dharma that can be said is the dharma. Although fame is not a characteristic, here it is named with the sound of fame, and in the sutra it is said to be the fame produced from sound. Moon, etc., are the characteristics of fame, and are produced from name, because they appear in dependence on it. Establishing the fruit of fame as fame, not only does this establish harm by fame as harm, but also what is measured by direct perception, and inference, etc., and scripture are also dharmas. Establishing the sound of measurer direct perception, etc., although it is not direct perception, etc., it is because it establishes harm by direct perception, etc. The former ones that can be said are the opposite of the proposition that cannot be said, so it is reasonable to eliminate the proposition that cannot be said, but direct perception, inference, and scripture are the objects of the opposite of the meaning of the proposition, but they are not the opposite themselves, so how can they harm the proposition? Indeed, in making such a supplement, and the latter ones as explanations of the previous examples, neither of them has exerted the effect of the word "also." The third is, worldly people
