The cognition of the general image of blue, is the subject. It should be a valid cognition, because it is a manifestor of an object not previously known, that is, because it is a general cognition not previously known by direct perception. If you say that, then, this subject, even if it is a newly cognized general image of blue, it will not become a manifestor of an object not previously known, because whatever is newly cognized, whose own nature, whether existent or nonexistent, was not previously known, that is the nature of a valid cognition, this is the intention of that nature, that is its meaning. Why? Because, the own nature, is the subject. If it is a conventional valid cognition, then it is necessary to know whether you exist or not, because the ascertainment that arises from it will examine whether you exist or not. Third, the Bhagavan, is the subject. Is indeed a person who is a valid cognition, because he is a person who possesses in his essence that which does not deceive the purpose of those to be tamed. Most Tibetans explain it as having both natures, which is because the earlier scholars determined the meaning of valid cognition in the homage of the sutra, and the later scholars did not understand the meaning of refuting contradictions with other treatises. Second, there are three reasons for explaining the necessity of mentioning "become": "Become" is mentioned to refute self-origination, it is established that valid cognition depends on means, and self-origination is refuted extensively. First, since it is sufficient to praise as "valid cognition," why is "become" mentioned? Saying "become" in the homage of the sutra, is the subject. There is a need, because it is for the purpose of reversing the existence of a self-originated valid cognition that does not arise from its own cause. Second, the Bhagavan, is the subject. It is reasonable to be a valid cognition depending on diligently not being mistaken about the means of proof, because any person who is a valid cognition has already refuted self-originated valid cognition. Third, there are four: refuting permanent self-originated valid cognition, refuting impermanent self-originated valid cognition, refuting the proof of the existence of self-origination, and refuting the activity of self-origination itself. First, it is unreasonable to mention "become" for the purpose of refuting permanent valid cognition, because Ishvara is a permanent valid cognition that is established by its own nature. If you say that, Ishvara, is the subject. It is not the case that it is a permanent valid cognition, because only the realization of an existent object is a valid cognition, and because the object of knowledge is impermanent, the cognition that has an object is also unstable.

If the measure is not permanent, but the person who has the measure is permanent, and the measure arises from that, then, the measure that arises in sequence is the subject. It is not reasonable to arise from a permanent person, because it is unreasonable. Because that permanent person, you do not need to rely on causes and conditions to produce, because that permanent one cannot be benefited by the form of causes and conditions. Second, if the impermanent Isvara, established by nature, existing at all times, is a measure, then, such an Isvara, the subject, your existence is certainly not reasonable to match the meaning of the name, because the measure of establishing your existence does not exist. Third, there are two: stating the claim and refuting it. First, the measure of establishing Isvara does not exist is not established, because the places and enjoyments of the world, etc., are the subject. It is preceded by a person with excellent wisdom, because of dwelling and entering, like a tent. Because it has a special shape, like a palace. Because it is capable of accomplishing meaning, like an army. And so on, those with number and measure are the reason for establishing it, and there is no other person with excellent wisdom than Isvara, if you say so. Second, there are two: refuting by examining the meaning to be established, and refuting by examining the establisher. First, dwelling, entering, etc., the subject, the places of the world, are not a valid reason for establishing that they are preceded by a person with excellent wisdom, because if the places of the world, etc., only establish that the wisdom of a person precedes them, then the wish of the Buddha is established by the way the various worlds arise from karma, that is, it becomes establishing what has already been established, and if it is established that it is made by Isvara, then the example is not established. Second, there are four: showing the general confusion of the establisher, refuting by examining the specific shape, refuting other objects in that way, and explaining the remaining meaning established by it. First, or dwelling, entering, etc., the subject, you doubt the pervasiveness of establishing that the places of the world are made by Isvara, because it is not determined by Isvara alone. Second, there are two: shape
