Therefore. If it is the same for you, then, if, as in dissimilar examples, the statement of pervasion being established is made, then, the subject, you are understood to be without the sign in the dissimilar side, and if the reason for the absence of the sign in the dissimilar side, that is, the nature of the relationship, is stated, then the statement of proof is without fault. The meaning of saying dissimilar dharma, explaining it as the statement of proof of dissimilar combination, because it must be admitted that from the words "absence of sign in the dissimilar side," it can be understood that there is no sign in the similar side, so it contradicts the previous and subsequent scriptures that prevent the establishment of meaning from the words, and it cannot become the antidote to reversal, and this reason should be understood from the words. Second, if merely not seeing the sign on the dissimilar side becomes pervasive, that is, it becomes certain that it is not established on the dissimilar side, then the following is also the previous statement. For example, using the sign that is similar to the ripe fruit to establish that the remaining fruit is not ripe, such a remaining dharma, if so, then pervasive inversion exists, why is it not established? Because the sign is established by merely not seeing it on the dissimilar side. If admitted, then it contradicts what the teacher said, because shapes and the like are similar, tastes and the like are not necessarily similar. Third, the reasoner thinks that merely not seeing in both directions is a pervasive sign, such as life, etc., which is also a dharma, and becomes the correct reason for establishing that the living body has self, because that established dharma is established, and it is merely not seen on the dissimilar side. If admitted, then it contradicts what the teacher said, that it is the same as what should be known and the seeming reason. Fourth, for the sign that doubts the existence or non-existence on the dissimilar side, the dharma, combined with the sign that is doubted and not established for the dharma of the subject, it is unreasonable to say that it has the fault of pervasive non-establishment, because it is merely not seen on the dissimilar side. If admitted, then it contradicts what the teacher said, the dharma of the subject must be determined by both the proponent and the opponent. Similarly, one should also speak appropriately about the existence or non-existence on the similar side, etc.
