Understanding! Second, what is the reasoning? For example, taking a vase as an example, it explains that what is made is the nature of impermanence; for example, taking a crowd of people as an example, it explains that fire and smoke are the cause of things. This reasoning is the dharma, because it does not understand the relationship between what is made and the same entity of impermanence, and the relationship between fire and smoke. Therefore, it must be shown to the opponent. Because the two opponents can understand these two relationships through examples, it is reasoning. That is to say, when dissimilar examples are not established in things, showing the following in similar examples can establish the opposite, which is its meaning. Third, after showing it in this way, because the pervasive relationship is understood on similar examples, it is for the wise who can remember the universal concept, and for the wise who remember the universal concept from the beginning and do not forget it, the dharma does not need to express the proof of the pervasive, because when producing inference, it is enough to express only the presence of the reason in the same category. So, what should be done for the foolish opponent who understands the pervasive relationship through examples but cannot remember the universal concept? Because the relationship is shown by examples, if you understand the relationship on examples, but the opponent who cannot remember the universal concept, the dharma, you must express the pervasive in front of you, because you must make the person who cannot remember the universal concept remember. So, do you need to express two pervasive? For such an opponent, Dharma, in front of you, if you say one of the two pervasive at random, it will cause the other one that has not been said to produce correct memory, because he will understand the meaning of the other through this. For the meaning of these, some people explain the meaning of the wise as only understanding the relationship on the example, and think that it is not necessary to say pervasive to him, which is unreasonable, because only understanding the relationship on the example is not the wise in this case, and in order to make him remember the universal concept, it is necessary to express pervasive. Some people explain the meaning of the previous scriptures as, if those dharmas do not exist, then those that are constant do not exist, so as to understand the meaning of the opposite, if you understand through expression, then how to express it? For the person who is not smart among the two people, the way to show it is "in terms of examples", etc., for the smart person, the way to show it is "for the wise", etc., and the meaning of only expressing the presence of the same category is also explained as the amount of determining the presence of the same category.

This is reasonable. Explaining the subsequent pervasion statement on the cognitive example of the inverse pervasion statement is contradictory; and merely the knowledge of the opposite of the unknown; and because the meaning of the wise of these two is not the same; if only the argument is stated, explaining it as the cause of determining the property, then "whichever of the two is said" must also be explained as the cause of determining the pervasion. This own system is the view of the Autocommentary and the Root Commentary of the Treatise on Reasoning Treasury, but other Tibetans have not shown the meaning of these three verses as they were previously stated. The fourth is because one does not confuse the effect and the nature, the cause and the nature. The cause, fire, and the nature of the pervader, wood, do not exist, as the subject, on some basis there is no smoke and animal tracks, establishing something, is also a correct argument, because establishing in this way possesses the three aspects. Moreover, if there is a vase that should be visible, then the non-appearance is also the subject, on some basis establishing that there is definitely no visible vase, is an argument, because establishing in this way possesses the three aspects. The Autocommentary says that the argument of the term of the object of negation is called its argument, because such non-appearance is the nature of self-negation. The non-appearance of the cause and the pervader is also the argument of both. Thus it is said. Thus, this sign of non-appearance, as the subject, is divided into three types from the perspective of relation and gathered, but from the perspective of combination it is divided into many types, namely the three non-cognitions of cause, pervader, and nature, and the three cognitions that contradict these three, and so on, the contradictory effect and, from the perspective of the combination of the appearance of the effect that contradicts the cause, it is divided into eight types. The third determination is also divided into two depending on the two determinants, namely the determination of the two determinants. If the two do not exist, then it is too much. The first is, if the correct sign must have non-occurrence if there is no existence, then by what is this determined? If it is said that the relationship of non-occurrence if there is no existence of the two establishing signs, as the subject, merely not seeing the sign property does not exist is not a determination, and merely seeing the property exist is not a determination, because the two sign properties are determined to be things of cause and effect or the same nature.
