These will be explained in detail step by step. These will be explained in detail step by step. Marginal Examination. Secondly, there are two aspects: marginal examination and one's own system. Firstly, some people divide it into three: correct detailed explanation, apparent detailed explanation, and related detailed explanation. Then, they combine the four verses, such as "because the causes are assembled, the result is..." into an apparent detailed explanation, which is not appropriate. This is because it is inconsistent with the order of the summary. If it is thought that it was mentioned before the related detailed explanation because the text is short, then it should also be mentioned before the correct detailed explanation, because it is shorter than that. Some people combine the subsequent meaning of the definite number upwards, while others combine it downwards to the related detailed explanation, believing that there is no apparent reason for detailed explanation, which is also inappropriate. This is because there is no proof that the first three verses of the summary have detailed explanations and the fourth verse does not. A treatise that does not match the summary and detailed explanation will not become a work of scholars. Furthermore, it contradicts the fact that only the last two verses in the Pramāṇaviniścaya are combined with the establishment of relation. Some people combine the first verse upwards to the subsequent meaning of the definite number, and the last three verses downwards to the related detailed explanation. Although this is a mistake caused by the fact that there is no first verse in the subsequent meaning of the definite number in the chapter on others in the Pramāṇaviniścaya, if that is the case, since there are only the last two verses in the establishment of relation in the Pramāṇaviniścaya, the second verse must also be combined upwards. Explanation of one's own system. Secondly, except for the Brahmin's explanation, which combines the four verses into an apparent reason for detailed explanation, it is not clear in other explanations such as the self-commentary. However, if it is consistent with the Pramāṇaviniścaya, it seems to be like this: In the chapter on others, the first verse is derived from the definite number; in the chapter on oneself, the last two verses are spoken at the beginning of the establishment of relation. Although the second verse is not clear in the Pramāṇaviniścaya, it is clear that it is derived from "depending on a single assembly" in this text. The detailed explanation of the apparent reason must also be determined as its Therefore, there are four meanings of detailed explanation: the correct three detailed explanations, the definite number of the three detailed explanations, and the detailed explanation of not arising without it.

An extensive explanation of seemingly valid reasons. An extensive explanation of the three correct reasons. The first has three aspects: the result is an indicator of the cause; the nature is an indicator of the essence; establishing negation from non-observation. The first case: If it is said that all phenomena like the clear blazing of the cause fire become indicators of smoke, then the nature of the cause fire, that is, whatever has become a general phenomenon, the result that does not arise without it, such as smoke, is the subject. On some bases, it can be a valid reason to prove that there is cause fire, because if proven in that way, the three characteristics can be complete. It is not an indicator of a distinctive phenomenon that is not its own refuter, such as clear blazing, because one is mistaken about it. The second case: Like what is made, which has become the essence of the phenomenon to be proven, is also the subject. On sound, merely having its own nature and a phenomenon related to nature, such as impermanence, is a correct reason for proving, because the three characteristics are complete when proven in that way. The third has two aspects: it can prevent potential existence; it can establish the definite absence of what is observable. The first case: Like a pot of potential existence for meat-eating, treatises and so on, the valid cognitions, do not apply, that is the subject. It does not exist on some bases, that is, it has the result of making it understood that the term of definite existence does not apply to that potential existence, because on some bases, proving that potential existence is not definite, the three characteristics are complete. The reason for using the plural "valid cognitions" is to include all three valid cognitions in the context of "unrelated to the occasion of treatises." The second has three aspects: essence, distinction, refuting objections. The first case: If it is said that all signs of non-observation are merely the result of preventing the certainty of existence, then, depending on the particularity of the reason, the non-observation of what is observable, that is, the non-observation of an observable pot is the subject. On some bases, it has the result of knowledge and expression consistent with the meaning of determining that some phenomena to be negated that are observable do not exist, because on some bases, establishing that an observable pot does not exist, the three characteristics are complete. The second case: The reason of non-observation that has the meaning and term of non-existence is the subject. There are four types: the nature of contradiction is established; the results of contradiction are established; the nature of being suitable as a cause is not established.
