Like hammers, etc., which are considered to be the cause of the destruction of a vase, all of these are things that possess the quality of being a subject of reasoning. You say that you produce the destruction of a vase is wrong, because it is not certain to produce destruction. Because it is merely the cause of the lineage of the destruction of a vase. It pervades, because it is merely a cause, so it is not certain that that result exists. Second, a vase is a thing that possesses the quality of being a subject of reasoning. Its own destruction does not depend on anything other than its own cause, because the cause of its own destruction, that which arises later than its own cause, has no ability to produce its own destruction, whether it is a thing or a non-thing that has already been destroyed. Also, the word "also" explains that it does not produce a non-thing of destruction that has already been destroyed, although it has been explained before, but the meaning of the text is clearly to summarize the previous reasoning. Third, the visible vase, etc., this is a thing that possesses the quality of being a subject of reasoning. It will be destroyed by its own nature, because it has arisen with the nature of destruction without depending on its own cause. Second, for the visible vase, etc., whatever is called to be destroyed by its own nature, the conditioned phenomena that are different from this are also things that possess the quality of being a subject of reasoning. It will be destroyed by its own nature, because there is no difference in arising with destruction without depending on its own cause. Third, the determination of two establishing signs by the power of connection, because of the determination of two connections, therefore the result sign and the nature sign are things that possess the quality of being a subject of reasoning. The dharma to be established is a thing, whatever is the correct sign of the subsequent inference that becomes the object of establishment, you are determined to be two, because you are only from those that become the result and nature of the dharma to be established, and are determined to be related to the dharma to be established. Second, applying the reverse connection to the sign of negation, there are three: First, the way of negating the object to be negated by non-apprehension. Second, the way of negating the object to be negated by non-apprehension. Dividing non-apprehension into two and eliminating disputes. The first has two: Stopping the certainty of existence is a valid cognition. Establishing the certainty of non-existence is not a valid cognition. First, for the two types of establishing signs, the connection of cause and effect and oneness is established, so how is the connection between the sign of negation and the dharma established? The reasoning of non-apprehension of non-appearance, because it stops the cause of the name, it stops the name of the result, therefore the reverse of the connection of arising from that itself is the connection between the sign and the dharma here.

It can also be established. Like this, if the nature of that dharma is not cognized by valid cognition, then the term "existent" will not be applied to that dharma, because the term "existent" is applied to that dharma because there is a consciousness that cognizes that dharma preceding it. Because it has been established, therefore, as the subject of an entailment, if valid cognition does not cognize the entailed thing, then when the name of the entailed thing as "existent" is prevented on some basis, it will be said that valid cognition itself is the establisher, because when the name of the entailed thing as "existent" is prevented on some basis, the three aspects may be complete. The previous ones, because preventing "existent" is the same here, so using the name "both are the same," and applying the reason for prevention to both, this contradicts the fact that in the Pramāṇavārttika, it is only applied to the reason of invisible non-cognition. Secondly, some things are not related to the meaning to be expressed in the context of the treatise, some things exist but are beyond the senses and cannot be observed like direct perception, and there is no reason for establishment, these entailed things are dharmas, because the valid cognition of the person who has become an entailed thing cannot cognize, then how can it be established as "non-existent"? It cannot be established, because even if you exist, you are not pervasive to the cognition by the valid cognition of that person. Therefore, the valid cognition of the continuum of the person who has become an entailed thing of meat-eating is a dharma, for the existence or non-existence of meat-eating, it will not become a universally used valid cognition, because it is not the result of a determination that determines the existence or non-existence of meat-eating. In the auto-commentary it says: Because valid cognition is the result of determination. Lhas (ལྷས།) says: For impermanence, etc., the nature distinguished by different modes, even if it is only grasped, it is not determined, because it is a determined nature, and from non-determination, it is the same as not grasping seeing, therefore, for those, that is valid cognition. Another way is not, because valid cognition is the result of entering. Shankara (ཤཾས།) says: Direct perception is also, when grasping all aspects, for those that are determined by the object of entering, it is valid cognition. Kashis (ཀ་ཤཱིས།) says: For non-attachment, merely not deceiving is not valid cognition, because it is too extreme. Like this, direct perception without distinction, how can it completely grasp the aspect?
