What difference makes you, a Brahmin, become an author or not become an author? Because you are not changed by conditions. If the Brahmin does not newly create the difference of the mantra, but can make the mantra manifest, then he is the author of the mantra. Then, the mantra, you should not be manifested by conditions, because you are permanent. That a permanent thing is manifested by conditions has already been refuted above. If the auditory consciousness of hearing the sound of the mantra arises from the Brahmin, then this is the meaning of the mantra's manifestation, and this consciousness is also the fruit of the mantra and the author. Then, the listener other than the reciter of the mantra should also obtain the fruit of reciting the mantra, because the auditory consciousness of hearing the sound of the mantra has arisen. Because the speaker makes the mantra manifest, hearing itself is considered the direct cause of obtaining the fruit of reciting the mantra. Furthermore, the subtle recitation or mental recitation, which cannot be heard by auditory consciousness and in which the tongue and palate, etc., of the vocalization slightly touch, should not be able to accomplish the meaning of reciting the mantra, because the sound of the mantra is not clear. The reason is established, because the clear sound is pervaded by being the object of ear consciousness. If, during subtle recitation and mental recitation, the conceptual thought in which the image of the mantra appears is also the manifestation of the sound of the mantra, because the sound of the mantra arises from that (conceptual thought) through transmission. Therefore, mental recitation is not meaningless. During subtle recitation and mental recitation, the conceptual thought in which the image of the sound appears, if the sound is the object of grasping of its own character, that is not established, because it is a conceptual thought that follows the previous conceptual thought. Fourth, if, according to what you think, the fruit of the mantra is accomplished by relying on symbols, then how is mental recitation not meaningless? Subtle recitation and mental recitation do not contradict the arising of the fruit of the mantra, because they are praised through accomplishing the intention of the author of the mantra, because they are recited while clinging to the generality of the mantra as its own character. The pervasion is established, because those who make symbols, clinging to the self-character of the mantra and the self-nature of the generality of the mantra, want to say that they are one entity.

Because this is the recitation of mantras. If it is believed that the result is achieved from the very substance of the self-character of the mantra sound, then it is not contradictory that the result arises from mental recitation, because mental recitation does not have the self-character of the mantra sound. Third, to avoid disputes regarding its circumstances, there are two parts: dispute and answer. The first is: If there is no order of letters with different functions, then words such as "ro" and "tsho," that is, ra saḥ (藏文,梵文天城体,ra saḥ,romanization: ra saḥ, literal meaning: ra saḥ) and sa raḥ (藏文,梵文天城体,sa raḥ,romanization: sa raḥ, literal meaning: sa raḥ), are subjects. From your hearing, in sequence, you will not understand the difference between the results of poison and ocean, because your sequence has no difference, and the letters have no difference. If it is said that the former thesis is accepted, and the latter is established because the letter is permanent and unique. The second is divided into three: The order of cause and effect of letters is made by humans. Therefore, other orders have different results. It is argued that the order of letters is made by humans. The first is: ra saḥ (藏文,梵文天城体,ra saḥ,romanization: ra saḥ, literal meaning: ra saḥ) and sa raḥ (藏文,梵文天城体,sa raḥ,romanization: sa raḥ, literal meaning: sa raḥ), are subjects. It is not established that you do not have the difference in the result because you do not have the reason for the different order, because your order has the difference of being dependent on humans. Like this, from the three orders of motivation, hearing, and memory, the order of the cause of motivation is different, because for ra saḥ (藏文,梵文天城体,ra saḥ,romanization: ra saḥ, literal meaning: ra saḥ), from the consciousness of the motivation of ra, the consciousness of the motivation of the letters ra and sa arises, and from the consciousness of the motivation of sa, the sound sa arises, and for sa raḥ (藏文,梵文天城体,sa raḥ,romanization: sa raḥ, literal meaning: sa raḥ), it is the opposite. The order of the result of hearing is different, because for ra saḥ (藏文,梵文天城体,ra saḥ,romanization: ra saḥ, literal meaning: ra saḥ), after hearing the hearing of ra, the sa with the difference of ra is determined by the ear, that is, hearing, and for sa raḥ (藏文,梵文天城体,sa raḥ,romanization: sa raḥ, literal meaning: sa raḥ), it is the opposite. The order of the result of memory is different, because for ra saḥ (藏文,梵文天城体,ra saḥ,romanization: ra saḥ, literal meaning: ra saḥ), the consciousness generated by the hearing consciousness of ra, has the sa that can hold itself, when hearing is not very fast, and the former and latter can be determined separately, the former ra relies on memory, and then memory arises on sa itself, and for sa raḥ (藏文,梵文天城体,sa raḥ,romanization: sa raḥ, literal meaning: sa raḥ), it is the opposite. Therefore, the letters of ra saḥ (藏文,梵文天城体,ra saḥ,romanization: ra saḥ, literal meaning: ra saḥ) and sa raḥ (藏文,梵文天城体,sa raḥ,romanization: sa raḥ, literal meaning: sa raḥ), are subjects. Your order of cause and effect is made by humans, as mentioned earlier, the order of the three minds of the cause of motivation, holding hearing, and memory, is your cause and effect.
