Thesis: Because it does not follow other entities. Second, if it is said that because there is a general universal such as the cooker, the term "cooker" is applied to many cookers. Then, these cooking people, the subject, should be inferred to have the term "cooker" applied to them at the very moment of their first birth, unrelated to the act of cooking. Because at that time, the universal of the cooker exists. The reason is that in your treatise, it is already acknowledged that all the universals that correspond to things, included in the subject, are only corresponding to the birth of this (subject) at the same time. If you go beyond that treatise, then the entity person, the subject, which is initially unrelated to the universal, should be inferred to never be related to the universal later. Because later it is the same as before, it is an unchanging constant. If it is said that the entity is initially related to the universal, but it is not clear, so the term is not applied initially. Then, the initial subject, that universal will become clear, because the universal is able to appear. Just like existence itself and the entity itself, etc., are clear from the beginning. If it is said that it is not clear at first, but it depends on the help of the act of cooking, so the universal becomes clear. Then, the entity person, the subject, the act of making the universal clear that you speak of, should be inferred to be independent. Because there is no change. It is not established, even if this entity can be made excellent by conditions, but the entity, the subject, should be inferred to be momentary. Because it changes through conditions. If you admit it, then the entity, the subject, depending on the action, where does the act of making the constant universal clear exist? It should be inferred that it does not exist. Because it is momentary. Third, although different but the same, there are also differences: many cookers and bottles, felts, etc., are the same in the difference of not having a universal entity. Is it thought that the term cooker should not be applied? Even if they are the same in difference, but because the category of excluding others of the cooker has reasons of being close and not close, so the term of one cooker is applied very much to some people, but not applied to other bottles, felts, etc., because excluding others itself is the reason for applying the term and knowledge of the universal. Second, to refute that the same result is produced by the power of the universal entity, there are two parts: stating the view of the Samkhya school.

That refutation is explained in detail. Firstly, the Samkhya says: If the exclusion of others is eliminated, abandoned, that is, after excluding things other than it, the nature of things that follow is one, and there is no other, then one seed, the dharma, your fruit seedling, should not turn into other fruits such as water and fertilizer, because it is extremely different from water and fertilizer. Therefore, are many also of one nature, producing one fruit? The second has two parts: the Samkhya school is refuted by reason, and it also refutes the fearless. The first has three parts: one nature is not the object of entry, the object of entry is only shown as its own characteristic, and the way of entry is examined for the presence or absence of both generalities. The first has three parts: rejecting what is produced by one nature, rejecting the oneness of the nature of things, and rejecting the oneness of the transformation of nature. The first has three parts: if one produces, then the cause is meaningless; if many produce, then the general is meaningless; even if many produce, there is still a difference. Firstly, if there is one self-nature, the general master, who uses many things such as water and fertilizer to produce one fruit seedling, then the seedling dharma, the causes such as water and fertilizer that work together to produce you, will become meaningless, because the one self-nature of the seed can also produce you, because there is a general master. Those who establish this doctrine, the seed dharma, should always be able to produce seedlings, because the general master, who can actually produce seedlings without difference, does not leave it and is its nature. The difference, that is, the co-operative cause, is not necessarily required for producing seedlings, because it is separate from the determination of being together with the master who has become the nature of the seed. Secondly, if you admit that the above co-operative cause is meaningless, then the fruit seedlings, those dharmas, arise from the differences of causes, because when the causes are combined, they arise even without the general master, and they do not arise even if one of those causes is missing. The general master who follows what is clear does not produce the fruit seedling, because the meaning fruit maker, that is, the one who can produce, is truly existent.
