If it is said that although it has not transformed from the state of not producing sprouts into a state with special self-nature, it is the cause of sprouts because of it, then, the earth and seeds, etc., are the subject. When producing sprouts, if it completely transforms from the state of not producing sprouts into a state with special self-nature, then it is the cause; if it does not transform, then it is not the cause. Because when cultivation, etc., is done well, one will see the special characteristics of that sprout, such as being better, etc. The second case is: if the example is, the collection of sense faculties acting on objects, although it has not transformed from the state of not being assembled into a state with special self-nature, but because it is the cause of producing sense consciousness, then, is it not uncertain that this Ishvara is also the cause even though it has not transformed from a non-cause into a state with special self-nature? For the collection of the three conditions, it is also the subject. It is not that it has not transformed from the state of not being assembled into a state with special self-nature, because there is transformation from the state of not being assembled into a state with special self-nature. If not, then even if the three conditions are assembled, it would necessarily become without the ability to produce sense consciousness, because the conditions that individually do not have the ability to produce sense consciousness have not transformed into a state with special self-nature. Therefore, the collection of the three conditions is established as transforming from the state of not being assembled into a state with special self-nature, because it has the ability to produce sense consciousness. Therefore, those three conditions are the cause of sense consciousness, etc., because although individually none of them has the ability to produce sense consciousness, etc., when assembled, they will transform into the merit of having the special self-nature of being able to produce sense consciousness. Ishvara, etc., should become non-causes, because they have not transformed into a state with special self-nature. The above explains its three modes of proof. Secondly, explaining the perfection of its proof is divided into two parts: one is marginal examination, and the other is the actual meaning of the text. The first part is: the former people divided the necessity of explaining transformation into two types: distinction and complete exclusion. For the first type, refuting the argument says: valid cognition is permanent, not existent. etc. For the latter type, refuting the argument says: valid cognition is knowing the hidden meaning. etc., one verse. The answer is: in order to show not knowing. etc., four verses, they say in unison. That is not the intention of the author of the treatise, because it is the measure that depends on the proof. etc., is also the category of the necessity of distinction.

Because there is no need to separately explain the meaning of "the necessity of all-encompassing," however, in the debate, three debates were raised, and the four verses only answered the first one, thus leading to the fault of not answering the latter two debates. If it is thought that the answers to the latter two debates are presented by explaining the arguments in a forward and reverse manner, then these three debates should all be explained before the establishment of all subsequent texts. Explaining only before the establishment of the four verses is like covering one's head with a cloth and not knowing who took the tail. In short, the latter two debates are debates about "the necessity of transformation," but the four verses do not answer them. Although the four verses answer the first debate, it is not a debate about "the necessity of transformation," so there is no connection at all. So, what should it be like? Before this, the valid cognition and transformation to be proven have been explained. The debate about valid cognition is: "Valid cognition is the knowledge of hidden meanings." The debate about the necessity of transformation is that there is no such proof of valid cognition, and even if there is, no one strives to do it. These three debates are represented here by one verse. Although the answer to the first debate does not directly appear in the offering and praise of the sutra, the teacher (Sanskrit: Ācārya) supplements it with four verses, which prove through reasoning the valid cognition that knows all necessities, and when it is established, it can also prove the knowledge of all knowable things, which is said in the first chapter: "The nature of what should be taken and abandoned." Therefore, considering the basis of the all-knowing one who proves all necessary meanings as a Bodhisattva on the path of seeing is not in accordance with this view. The answer to the second debate is expressed by explaining the four arguments in a forward manner. First, it is proven through reasoning that due to the habituation of the objects and aspects of compassion in many lifetimes, the nature of the mind is transformed into the nature of compassion, thereby wishing to benefit sentient beings. If this is established, then "The loving one, for the sake of destroying suffering, diligently engages in various methods." In this way, the teacher who applies the path to eliminate the suffering of others is established. If this is established, then "From establishment arises the first, these two are said to be the cause." In this way, the Sugata with three special qualities of abandonment and realization
