Having been born, from a young age, you took on the great responsibility of the Buddhist teachings and the kingdom, I respectfully prostrate to you. As the lord of the mandala ocean, Vajradhara (藏文：རྡོ་རྗེ་འཆང་，梵文天城体：वज्रधर，梵文罗马拟音：Vajradhara，汉语字面意思：Holder of the Vajra). And with you as the foremost of the noble sons, having fully enjoyed the nectar-like excellent teachings, I respectfully prostrate to the instructions that have become treasures. Filled with the pure three trainings as precious jewels, the excellent teachings are like waves of the Vinaya moving. It is the place where the supreme banner of enlightenment is cherished, I respectfully prostrate to the feet of the great Arhat. The root of love and compassion is firmly established, the leaves of the Bodhi tree, protect all the suffering of samsara and nirvana, I bow my head to the great Bodhisattva. Through wondrous instructions, one's own mindstream is liberated, the great secret teachings are like the sun's rays, illuminating the supreme path for fortunate beings, I respectfully prostrate to the feet of the Vajra Holder. With your loving compassion for the sole beings, having skillfully observed the arising of benefit and happiness for the teachings, you cherish the Buddha's teachings supremely, I prostrate to the guide of all beings. I offer vast clouds of offerings, both real and mentally created, I confess all sins and rejoice in all virtues. I request you to constantly turn the wheel of Dharma and not pass into nirvana, to remain for the benefit of beings. From the merit accumulated from such praise and prayer, may the clear light, like the sun, dispel all the darkness in the hearts of beings as vast as space, and may they be established in the supreme, unsurpassed enlightenment. May this excellent great monastery of close association, be filled with all the glory and wealth of samsara and nirvana, may it constantly uphold the stainless Buddha Dharma, and become the foundation for proclaiming the great sound of the sacred Dharma. Having been made from the jewels of many tantras, Having a rosary of wonderful four empowerments in order, Having the radiance of the sun and moon clear in two stages, I pray to the feet of the Vajra Holder. With the accumulation of virtue from properly praising the glorious Lama, May this place be filled with enjoyment and May the Dharma flourish, and all limitless beings Quickly attain the state of omniscient king. The root of the teachings is good generosity, For this praise that is very famous, Having been well urged by hundreds of thousands of faithful and wise people, It was composed by the learned monk Sonam Senge.
