With the crest of many scriptures adorning the crown of the head, With a garland of pure compositions adorning the neck, Whose thunderous voice of discriminating wisdom loudly proclaims, I bow to the supreme scholar, the lord of the Nagas. The stream of nectar of the intention of the boundless tantras, Having been well collected in the vase of profound and vast wisdom, Empowering the crown of the mind of the clear-minded, I bow to that excellent vase filled with the essence of instructions. From merely mentioning a fraction of the qualities of the holy ones, Whatever virtue is obtained from the sacred Dharma, May I possess pure vows and commitments, And abide on the path praised by the holy ones. This meaningful honey of praise For the wise among the wise, Sherab Zangpo, Having been extracted from the lotus of the mind of Sonam Senge, Is given to the assembly of bees seeking meaning. In all lifetimes, may I be cared for by the glorious Lama. May it be virtuous! The author. I prostrate to the treasure of auspicious goodness. Praising the qualities of the Lama, the protector of beings, may all beings in the three realms, through that merit, be completely liberated from the great ocean of suffering and placed in the state of great bliss and liberation. In particular, may the immaculate teachings of the Sakyapa, the lord of wisdom, constantly spread on the lotus of those to be tamed, illuminate the supreme path, and become the cause for the growth of the harvest of benefit and happiness. This praise to Lodro Gyaltsen Pal Zangpo, the Lama of beings, called "Sunlight Illuminating Qualities," was composed at the urging of faithful students. The scribe was the monk Sonam Senge of Sakya, at the source of the glorious Sakya Yonten Rinpoche, and the writer was Upa Drakzang. Praise to the Teacher Kunga Bum With compassion never abandoning beings, with the sun of wisdom in the sky of scriptures, possessing the light of profound meaning and good fortune.
