It is the unsurpassed secret word of Jamyang (Manjushri). The third is: Both are without self-nature, which is the emptiness of inner and outer. The generators of inner and outer, both with their own self-nature empty of self-nature, are the emptiness of inner and outer. Inner and outer refer to the abdomen from the middle and edges, etc., although it is considered the power base of the Holy Lion, but what is said here is the intention of the Sutra. The fourth is: All dharmas are without self-nature, the wise call it emptiness. That emptiness is also considered empty by the nature of emptiness. What is the emptiness called emptiness? It is said that emptiness is emptiness. It is said to eliminate the attachment of the wise who have the idea of emptiness as something real. Although this emptiness is explained by the Middle Way and the Tantras and the Holy Lion, etc., for all dharmas, the teacher here, as in the Sutra, calls the dharmas such as conditioned and unconditioned, which are empty of their own nature, emptiness. As the Mind Commentary says: All dharmas are unborn, it is well explained as emptiness. Like this. That emptiness is also considered empty by its own nature of emptiness, if there is a little dharma that is not empty of dharma or the basis of refutation, then the emptiness of the object to be refuted is blocked on it, as the Jonangpa and Gelugpa schools allow, but here there is not a little dharma that is not empty, so how can the existence of emptiness and the establishment of the basis be established? The emptiness called emptiness is said to be emptiness, other than this, it is said to eliminate the attachment of the wise who imagine emptiness as something real or unreal that can do the meaning of real or unreal. As the Praise of the Transcendent World says: In order to destroy all delusions, the nectar of emptiness is shown. (342na) Whoever is attached to anything, that is what you rebuke. Like this. And the Sutra Requested by Light Protection says: Light Protection, those who focus on emptiness and discriminate emptiness are the most degraded from this scripture of mine. So it is said. Light Protection, it is excellent to cling to the self of a person as firmly as Mount Sumeru, but it is not so to cling to emptiness with arrogance.

Why is that? Śāriputra, whatever arises from all views is emptiness. Śāriputra, if someone only clings to emptiness, I say that is incurable. Śāriputra, for example, if a person is sick and is given medicine, and the medicine removes all of their illnesses, but the medicine remains in their stomach and does not disappear, Śāriputra, what do you think? Can that person be liberated from the illness? They replied: Bhagavan, no, because the medicine removes all the illnesses, but the medicine remains in the stomach and does not disappear, that person's digestive illness will become very severe. The Bhagavan said: Śāriputra, likewise, whatever arises from all views is emptiness. Śāriputra, if someone only clings to emptiness, I say that is incurable. And as it says in the Ornament of Dense Array Sutra: The view of self, as firm as Mount Meru, does not cause harm, but the view of emptiness does cause harm, because pride is untrue. Yogis should not apply emptiness to non-places. If it is applied to non-places, it is like drinking nectar as poison. Whatever views there may be, that beings possess, in order to abandon those views, the teaching of emptiness is taught. However, even if emptiness is heard, if some people's views are not eliminated, they are holders of incurable views, like a patient abandoned by a doctor. As Je Tsongkhapa said when refuting the views of the Jonangpa masters, although they do not consider other-emptiness to be true in meditative equipoise, they cling to it as true in the subsequent discernment. And the Gelugpas, whether in meditative equipoise or subsequent attainment, consider dependent arising to be imputed, and other than what is refuted by reason, the emptiness of form is emptiness, other-emptiness is without inherent existence, they strongly cling to this view, which is like a patient abandoned by a doctor, because they cling to incurable views, they cannot be cured by the nectar of the supreme Dharma of the complete Buddha, the great doctor who eliminates all diseases of the two obscurations. Fifth, it is divided into two parts: the basis of the subject, the way of emptiness, and the necessity. The first part is: Because sentient beings and the world of vessels, completely pervade all places, and because countless metaphors have no limit, therefore the ten directions are vast. The ten directio
