If emptiness, which is devoid of self-grasping that refutes self-existence in all phenomena, cannot be established, it is because such self-existence itself is selflessness and non-existence. If you think so, you will abide in the side of saying that the self is the selflessness and the truly established is the non-existent, as some of those who are called great practitioners nowadays say. Therefore, the emptiness that you desire is not the nature that is inseparable from all phenomena such as form, and the result of this inference is that even though you (336b) try to make it seem like you don't want it in many ways, it seems that what you really want from the bottom of your heart is this. Because after the truth to be refuted by the sign is well refuted, you still do not want the person and the aggregates, etc., to be true in themselves as functioning, and the things, and the observation of them, and the grasping are conceptual grasping, so you do not prevent it. What will happen from that? If you realize that wonderful emptiness of yours, it will be transformed from the establishment of emptiness of the realists to the emptiness of the Madhyamikas, which is great. Because you cannot admit that the truth that the person and the aggregates, etc., are true as functioning is the emptiness of self-emptiness, and in other aspects, for something that does not exist in the knowable, you arbitrarily consider it to exist, therefore, the emptiness that is empty of it is the supreme nectar of emptiness, because this is what you want. This inference is because you doubt that you have not established it, and like a nail being hammered into your heart, you feel a sting, and that is the true thing to be established. Because the nature of the two truths is not pervasive, you are attached to the idea that the two truths are not one, because you want the conventional form and other things to be different from the ultimate emptiness, so you want to establish it. If so, then there are faults in both the words and the meaning. First, in the conventional, between one and different, there will be a third aggregate that is not two. Because the nature of the two truths is one, it is not the meaning of the two truths being one, nor is it the meaning of the two truths being different. The sign is accepted. (337a) The pervasion is the measure of other fame. If you admit, then the nature of the third aggregate of the two truths that are neither one nor different is one, as a subject, you become without self-nature by the reason of being separated from one and different.

It cannot be determined, because the subject of that proof is not established. Moreover, in terms of convention, there should be two, not three, between one and different, because the two truths are one in essence and different in aspects. The sign is accepted, and the pervasion is established by others' assertions. If you accept, then one and different are not contradictory. Because of that acceptance. Also, the two truths should be one, because they are one in essence. If it is not pervasive, then it should be pervasive, because different essences are pervaded by different ones. Furthermore, it is impossible for the two truths to be one in essence, because it is impossible for the two truths to be one. If it is not pervasive, then it should be pervasive, because if one that pervades is negated, then the object that is pervaded, which is one in essence, must be negated. Secondly, it will never be possible for the essence of form, etc., to be established as emptiness, because the essence of form, etc., is considered to be different from its emptiness. If this is the case, then one will not be able to realize the nature of reality without relying on the subject. If you accept this, then when one focuses on the emptiness of the essence of form and the essence of beautiful form is established, one will not be able to reverse the thoughts of attachment, etc. Furthermore, if form, etc., are not empty of their own essence, but are empty of other things that are to be negated by the sign, and if form, etc., can be understood as being empty of their own essence, then this consequence will follow: the emptiness of form being empty of rabbit horns should be the emptiness of form being empty of its own essence. Form is not empty of form, but why is the emptiness of form being empty of what is to be negated by true existence not the emptiness of form being empty of its own essence? Because both rabbit horns and what is to be negated by the sign are equally non-existent in what is knowable. If you accept this, then the rabbit horn should be the essence of form, and the emptiness of the rabbit horn should be the nature of form. If you also accept that, then from now on, I will not say anything more to you about this. Furthermore, since there cannot be a real entity to be negated by the sign other than form, etc., if you accept that emptiness exists on top of form, etc., which are real entities, then such an unreal emptiness will either become one with the essence and nature of the real entity, or form, etc., which are real entities, will also become like that other, becoming the emptiness of the emptiness of their own essence.
