To say "because that itself is me" is to say that when a yogi realizes no-self, he knows the permanent self as other than the aggregates, and to say that even the seed of the view of self as the object of the aggregates is completely eradicated is very strange, because they are not related to each other. You abandon the permanent self that is imputed as other than the aggregates, and no matter how the world thinks it does not exist, this permanent self that is other than the aggregates is not considered by worldly people to be the basis of "I-grasping," so worldly people cannot prevent the view of "self" in the aggregates that have become the basis of I-grasping. The meaning of this is that for the aggregates, all sentient beings congenitally view them as self, and to this, the proponents of tenets say that on the object of the congenital view of self, they posit the self with imputations of conditioned and unconditioned, permanent and impermanent, etc. If the congenital I-grasping and the self of the object of imputation exist as real, then where do the real existences of conditioned and unconditioned, permanent and impermanent exist? When the imputed self is thus refuted, the congenital (292a) self will not be refuted either. Because if the congenital self also exists as real, then it must exist in the real existence of permanent and impermanent, conditioned and unconditioned, but when the imputed self is examined in that way, it is not established, then the self of the object of the congenital view of self is also equally not established as the nature of real existence. Just as when the imputed four extremes of arising are refuted in sprouts etc., the congenital arising is also refuted on them. However, here the Many Honored One mistakenly admits, and as a result, he has to implicitly admit that the self other than the aggregates is the congenital self. If that is the case, according to your view, the congenital self and the view of self that are universally known to sentient beings cannot be abandoned, this is the criticism. That is to say, the Many Honored One thinks that the self of the person is permanent, one, independent, and different from the aggregates, and that the self and sentient beings are impermanent, and thinks that they are the aggregates. Of these two, because the former self is refuted, he thinks that the latter self is also refuted, this is ridiculed. Although he did not directly say that because the former self is refuted, the latter self is also refuted, but because you have mistaken tenets, no matter how you establish the boundary of whether the view of self is refuted or not, you should abandon the worldly conventional truth.

When arguing with those who speak of common fame and accomplishment, whether or not the self and self-grasping on the aggregates are refuted determines whether or not selflessness is realized. Since the realization of the selflessness of a person is not determined by whether or not the self on objects other than the aggregates, and the "I" and "mine" on them are refuted, it is reasonable to establish this (292b) here as reasonable. Regarding the meaning of this treatise, the statements of the great Eastern Tsongkhapa and Tazi arguing are recorded in writing, but those seem to have not even touched the edge of the meaning of this treatise, so the refutations and establishments of those should also be treated with equanimity. The second is: While clearly seeing a snake's nest in the crack of one's own wall, Saying, "There are no elephants here" and dispelling doubts, Even abandoning the fear of snakes, Alas! It becomes a laughingstock for others. For example, some people, while clearly seeing a snake's nest in the crack of their own wall, say that there are no elephants here, dispel the fear of snakes, and even abandon the fear of snakes, alas! It becomes a laughingstock for others, that is, it becomes an object of ridicule for the wise. Because just as a person who says there are no snakes and lives in peace will be bitten by a snake and encounter misfortune, even if the permanent self is refuted, since the self-grasping that takes the aggregates as its object is not refuted, one will still be bound by karma and afflictions and wander in samsara. Here, if we transform the argument of the object of refutation of the Eastern Tsongkhapa's argument: When selflessness is realized, the truly established self is abandoned, Because it is not desired as the basis of self-grasping, Therefore, with the view of selflessness, Even the root of self-grasping is uprooted, this statement is very wonderful. While clearly seeing a snake's nest in the crack of one's own wall, Saying, "There are no elephants here" and dispelling doubts, Even abandoning the fear of snakes, Alas! It becomes a laughingstock for others. Thus ridiculed. The third is: There is no self in the aggregates, and also in the self There are no those aggregates, because here If there is another, then this thought will arise, Because there is no other, therefore this is a conceptual thought. In the dependent aggregates, the self does not exist in a dependent way, and in the dependent self, those aggregates also do not exist in a dependent way, because if there is another like a container and yogurt here, then this thought will arise about the dependent and the supporting things (293a) , the self and the aggrega
