Since it does not fall into any extreme, there is no manifest attachment to anything. Therefore, it does not diminish from the ultimate truth. Since all terms of the world and beyond are not inappropriate for this, it also does not diminish from the conventional truth. Therefore, the teacher said: For whom emptiness is suitable, for him everything is suitable. For whom emptiness is not suitable, for him everything is not suitable. So, is the one who speaks of dependent origination and says that it does not diminish from the two truths a Madhyamika, or someone other than a Madhyamika? On this, the Svatantrika and Prasangika have different ways of speaking. The Svatantrika does not consider the one who speaks of dependent origination to be a Madhyamika in the ultimate sense, but in name he is a Madhyamika. At that time, he only thinks he is a Madhyamika, but in reality he is not. The Prasangika, however, considers that the one who speaks of dependent origination is forced by others to be a Madhyamika, and is established as such. However, the Prasangika himself, no matter how he needs to speak, does not consider himself a Madhyamika in either of the two truths in terms of the object of attachment. He has not become a Madhyamika in reality, and he does not even think of himself as a Madhyamika. So, what is the Prasangika like at that time? That is also because he is forced by others to be labeled as a Prasangika, but the Prasangika himself does not acknowledge himself as a Prasangika. So, what do you mean by saying Prasangika? That is only to distinguish when arguing with you, following your establishment. Apart from that, when freed from arguments that are not troubled by such arguments, the statement "I am a Madhyamika" is beyond words and thoughts. Even during the debate, it is beyond words and thoughts, but it appears to be said there, like the sound of an echo. To dissect such details, only my (Tibetan) supreme Jetsun Repa was able to generate and accomplish the realization of Madhyamika without error in his mind. It seems that such a person has not appeared in this part of the snowy land (Tibet). In that case, do the terms Madhyamika and Madhyamika become unfounded even in name? We only follow the fame and meaning that have not been analyzed, and then make subsequent statements. What does it matter whether it is established or not in name? If analyzed, your terms...

It depends on minds with and without a basis of terms. I have reached the culmination of the Perfection of Wisdom through yoga, having truly transcended the speculation of those concepts. At that time, who is the one who has reached the culmination? From that point on, the path of words has been cut off, and since both I and you are free from the answers of what is to be said and what is said, how can we answer, having plunged into the expanse of the Perfection of Wisdom that is beyond expression? Therefore, having understood such a key point, the realization is sung as a vajra song: Gyalwa Bomdrakpa said: If you want to seek the definitive meaning of reality, Put the corpse as the sky in your mind. If you understand it, that is it. Those with speculation do not know it. Those with experience do not experience it. Those with thoughts do not think it. It is not just not thinking, But clearly knowing that nothing is mixed. Compared to the speculation of the contradiction maker (73N), The profound meaning is unreasonable. But for those liberated from the bonds of contradiction, Anything is happy and anything can be heard. For a bird that knows how to fly, the sky is happy. For a fish that knows how to float, the river is happy. As it is said. Some say that Madhyamikas have vows, which is unreasonable. Because vows, promises, and desires are all attachment to any side, And arise from conceptualization of things. If both truths are analyzed by reason, not even one hundred thousandth of a particle can be found. Since noble ones do not have any conceptualization in equipoise, Madhyamikas have not accepted any side. If one accepts any side and has attachment, then one will not become a Madhyamika, but will fall into partiality and extremism. If you say that it does not exist ultimately but exists merely conventionally, then this has already been explained above in the context of analyzing conventional arising. Madhyamikas consider all phenomena to be merely interdependent even conventionally, and emptiness makes one free from all elaboration and grasping even conventionally, and does not increase some grasping. If one does not separate from some grasping and increases it, then it is not suitable for the Middle Way. If it is not the Middle Way, then it is not appropriate to pacify all elaboration. If all phenomena are interdependent,

Then, isn't the very statement of emptiness a conventional commitment? Furthermore, aren't the commitments in the scriptures that prevent the arising from the four extremes (73b), etc., many of which have occurred, commitments? No, they are not. These are merely to reverse the wrong views of those who speak of arising from the four extremes, etc., and who are manifestly attached to things, so in the face of their delusions, they are merely followed by sound, like an echo. Because there is no manifest attachment to oneself, and nothing is established as one's own system. If merely speaking to others would make the Tathāgata and the Madhyamaka have commitments, then all their commitments would become self-contradictory, and would be subject to rational harm. Because, in order to reverse the manifest attachment of limitless beings to be tamed, they have spoken of limitless things such as existence, non-existence, both, and neither, and have set forth limitless reasons. In that case, the Tathāgata and the Madhyamaka would not be able to refute others in the face of their delusions, because their own commitments have limitless self-contradictions and rational harms. Some say that the Tathāgata has the self-nature commitment of the four fearlessnesses, but this is completely mistaken. The Tathāgata has shown the path to eliminate the deception of others' erroneous speech and thought, and has said that one will not be deceived by it. He has vowed fearlessness, etc., but this is merely a fabrication in the presence of others, and is merely fame due to the merit of the beings to be tamed. The Tathāgata has completely pacified all commitments and non-commitments regarding fear and fearlessness. If it were not so, and the Tathāgata were to make a commitment to self-verifying truth, then there would also be a self-verifying truth of ego-grasping, such as "I am free from timidity" (74a). In that case, whoever has ego-grasping and commitments, and has self-contradictions and rational harms, should not be omniscient, just like the Samkhyas and the Vaisheshikas, etc. Therefore, although the Madhyamaka has no commitment, in the presence of others, there is no contradiction in saying things like existence, non-existence, both, neither, etc., and dependent arising and emptiness, etc., merely as names, terms, and conventions. Because that which is said is itself a method for others to understand the profound meaning that is free from bias and any commitment. The teacher says: "One does not say empty, nor does one say not empty."
