Because you think so. If you admit that all phenomena that are the basis of emptiness, from form to omniscience, are not emptiness but remain as something extra, as not empty, then what can I do? If that's the case, then you will also have this situation here: just as you say that the conventional truth of the nature of grasping and being grasped, which is established as valid in the world, is the subject. You should admit that it is emptiness devoid of self-reality, because even though it is not empty by itself, it is said to be emptiness. If you admit it, then the conventional truth of the nature of grasping and being grasped, that dharma that is not empty by itself, will become selflessness, unreality, and emptiness, because you think so. If that's the case, then in reality, the emptiness of being devoid of self-reality, which negates self-reality in all phenomena, will not be established, because that kind of self-reality is selflessness and unreality. If you think so, then you will be in the position of saying, like some people who are now called great practitioners, "I am selflessness, and real establishment is unreality." Therefore, if the emptiness that you think is not the nature of dharma that is inseparable from all phenomena such as form, then it is too much, and this refutation is thrown out. Although many of you (page 336b) pretend not to like it, it seems that what you really want from the bottom of your heart is this, because after the truth that is to be refuted as a reason has been well negated, you still do not want the person, aggregates, and other things themselves to be true in their function, and you do not want to prevent that true thing, the way of looking at it, and the clinging to it, which is the clinging to signs. If that's the case, then when you realize that strange emptiness of yours, it will change from the category of emptiness of the realists to the emptiness of the Madhyamikas, because you cannot admit that the truth of the person, aggregates, and other things that can function is the emptiness of being empty of its own nature, but by determining that there is a real entity different from this in the knowable by means of conclusive examination, and by emptying other things with it, you think that this emptiness is the supreme nectar of emptiness. Because you think so, this refutation is thrown out because you are afraid that you will not be able to establish it, as if a nail had been driven into your heart.

It is the valid probandum that establishes the arising of illusion, because the two truths are not pervaded by being of one essence, so it is asserted that the two truths are not one, because it is asserted that ultimate emptiness is different from the entities of conventional form, etc., and thus it is established. In this way, there are faults in both the word and the meaning. First, in name, there are three categories that are neither one nor different, because the oneness of the two truths is not the meaning of the two truths being one, nor is it the meaning of the two truths being different. The sign is accepted. (337a) The pervasion is measured by the fame of others. If it is asserted, then the oneness of the essence of the third category of the two truths that are neither one nor different, as the subject, cannot be established as being without self-nature by the sign of being separate from one and many, because the property of the subject is not established in this way. Also, in name, there are three categories that are two between one and different, because the one of the essence of the two truths being one and the opposite being different exist. The sign is accepted. The pervasion is established by the fame of others. If it is asserted, then one and different are not contradictory. Because that is asserted. Also, the two truths are one. Because they are of one essence. If it is not pervasive, then it is pervasive. Because difference pervades difference in essence. Also, it is impossible for the two truths to be of one essence. Because it is impossible for the two truths to be one. If it is not pervasive, then it is pervasive. Because if one pervader is negated, then the essence of one that is pervaded must be negated. Second, it is impossible for a sign of the essence of form, etc., to be emptiness, because it is asserted that the emptiness of the essence of form, etc., is different from it in another entity. In this way, it is not possible to realize the nature of phenomena without relying on the subject. If it is asserted, then by focusing on the emptiness of the suchness of form, it is also impossible to reverse the thoughts of attachment, etc., when the essence of the beauty of form is established. Also, if form, etc., are not empty of their own essence, but are empty of other objects to be negated by the sign, then if form, etc., are empty of their own essence (337b), then this will happen here: the emptiness of form being empty of rabbit horns becomes the emptiness of form being empty of its own essence. Form is not empty of form, but the emptiness of form being empty of the object to be negated, which is truly established, becomes the own essence of form.
