Sapa Yi, I prostrate to the Lama, the Victorious One, and his sons. Through the merit I have accumulated by virtuous deeds, and by dispelling the darkness of cognitive and emotional obscurations, may I attain the supreme light of wisdom and clairvoyance, so that I may accomplish the great benefit of limitless beings. From this day forward, in all lifetimes, may I hold the treasury of the Dharma of all the Victorious Ones, and with the light of pure Dharma, dispel the darkness of ignorance of beings. Truth Power! I pray that the embodiment of all refuges, the kind root guru, the great Black Vajra Guru (藏文：རྡོ་རྗེ་ནག་པོ་ཆེན་པོ་གུར་གྱི་མགོན་པོ་，梵文天城体：महा वज्र गुरु，梵文罗马拟音：Mahā Vajra Guru，汉语字面意思：Great Vajra Guru), may your aspirations and prayers be fulfilled. By the truth of your unobstructed wisdom, compassion, and power, and by the power of the great truth, may all the negative karma and obscurations accumulated from beginningless samsara by myself and all sentient beings connected to me be purified and cleansed. May all the adverse obstacles arising from past karma and immediate causes be pacified. May the blessings of the deities and lamas enter my being, and may I quickly generate special and correct realizations in my being. May all the guardian deities whom I rely upon and constantly worship be brought under my control, so that all my recitations, virtuous deeds, retreats, and practices, and all virtuous activities, may proceed smoothly and ultimately be accomplished. May all temporary wishes and favorable conditions be fulfilled as desired, so that both my own and others' benefits may be spontaneously accomplished. May I not experience the suffering of cutting off breath at the time of death, and may I be greeted by the Lama and the Yidam deity, so that I may be reborn in the pure land of Sukhavati in the future. May all this be accomplished as such! May the Lama, the Victorious One, and his sons proclaim with the words of truth and bless with compassion! May all the bad omens, ill omens, and negative results of divination arising from the earth, as well as obstacles to life, hindrances, diseases, demons, evil thoughts, enemies, disputes, and the three forms of resentment, and the evil intentions, harsh actions, conflicts, verbal abuse, evil deeds, broken vows, and interruptions to practice of all malicious beings, both internal and external, be pacified. May the blessings of the deities and gurus enter my being. May unwavering faith in the guru and the Three Jewels arise, may the mind of Bodhicitta arise, may the wisdom of realizing the true nature arise, and may the extraordinary samadhi of the two truths quickly arise within my being. Guardians such as the Eight Lords, the Four-Faced Ones with their consorts, the Tiger-Riding entourage, the Lords of the Cemetery and their consorts, Lhamo Jekhol, the Five Great Dharma Kings, the Seven Nöjin Brothers, and all the oath-bound protectors, may you gather your power and cause all my recitations, virtuous deeds, retreats, and practices to proceed smoothly and be perfectly accomplished, and may all my temporary wishes and favorable conditions be fulfilled as desired, so that both aims are spontaneously accomplished. The power of truth: I pray to the inseparable from the kind root guru, the activity of all the Buddhas, Jetsun Drolma (Tara) and her retinue, and the embodiment of the wisdom, compassion, and power of all the Sugatas of the ten directions and three times, the crown jewel of all beings in the snowy land of Tibet, the Great Teacher of Oddiyana (Padmasambhava), and all the hosts of Vidyadharas (knowledge holders), all the peaceful and wrathful Yidams (tutelary deities), the heroes and dakinis of the three places, the Three Roots, and the ocean of deities of the Buddhas. By the power of the truth and the great truth of your past aspirations and perfect prayers, the completion of the two accumulations of merit and wisdom, the power of the ten strengths, the wealth of the ten freedoms, and the unobstructed wisdom, compassion, and power, may rainfall be timely in this land and throughout all vast realms, may crops and livestock always be good, may all auspicious signs increase, and may the eons of disease, famine, and weapons be cut off.
