Because of having power over wisdom, it is called "Initiation." During the elaborate initiation of the Secret Great Perfection, externally, relying on the vase, the seven special substances such as peacocks and mirrors cause the continuum of the seven existences to cease. Internally, relying on the eight auspicious symbols and the seven treasures, one obtains desirable qualities temporarily, and ultimately, power over mind and wisdom. Relying on the non-elaborate secret, giving the five nectars, the Bhanda (Tibetan: བྷནྡྷ,Sanskrit Devanagari: भण्डा,Sanskrit Romanization: bhaṇḍā,Literal Chinese meaning: container), and the great empowerment statue, etc., the seven supreme substances cause the continuum of the seven wheels of existence to cease internally. The elaborate non-elaboration is that when relying on the Prajna-ye rig ma, relying on the seven compassionate substances such as sindhura and mirrors with handles, initiating in the three places such as the secret place causes the seven activities of the secret entering the mind to cease, and one obtains stability in the three vajras and non-dual wisdom. Among these, the secret and prajna first show cause and effect, and then place it in the third position. The elaborate complete Bodhicitta drop, relying on the seven objects of non-objectification such as abandonment and realization, initiating causes the continuum of the seven combinations that enter the three realms to cease. The third Prajna initiation will be shown below. Non-elaboration has four types: outer, inner, secret, and complete. Externally, relying on the mandala and vase, one purifies with the letter wheels of body, speech, and mind. The inner dharmas are determined by the vase place, such as unborn. The secret is that all phenomena appear as liberation, symbolizing impartiality. The complete dharmas are selflessness, etc., which are word initiations. In the extremely non-elaborate initiation, externally, one distinguishes between samsara and nirvana, internally, in order to enjoy the twenty-five wisdoms, one offers the mandala and prays. The secret is entering the door of mind nature from the four directions of space. Completion is using the sound of vast space to show that the mind has no beginning or end. The most non-elaborate is the outer sitting posture, the inner way of looking, and the secret is combining the two to enjoy in the Buddha field. Completion is using the meaning of "go," etc. The objects to be purified, the results of purification, etc., should be understood from the extensive and abbreviated. The way of these is that the initiation that comes from the mouth of the lama relies on the literal meaning of the initiation ritual, and the initiation that relies on the blessings of the yidam.

I am like the rain of scriptures falling on the palace of King Zai. The empowerment prophesied by Vajra Dakini is that Nagarjuna and Drosang stole the Two Examinations and the Maha Maya from Orgyen Dharma Genzho, and the Dakinis chased after them and caught them, saying, "Let the owner of this Dharma speak," and thus it was obtained. Obtaining it through the power of one's own mind is obtaining it through the view of Dharmata, it is the empowerment of awareness, and relying on it, the disciple obtains accomplishment, which is the result of empowerment. These are what is taught in the Condensed Vows of Jowo (Atisha). Thus, the classifications and summaries of empowerments according to the individual tenets of each tantra are not entirely fixed, and the antidotes spoken to tame the dispositions, thoughts, abilities, habits, and afflictions of those to be tamed are all included within the four empowerments. Thus, externally, there are the four seasons; internally, the three doors of body, speech, and mind are equal and fourfold. Ultimately, in order to unite birth, death, coming, and going, and the four extremes of existence, non-existence, permanence, and annihilation, one purifies and practices with the four empowerments of vase empowerment, secret empowerment, wisdom empowerment, and word empowerment, and traverses the four paths of accumulation, preparation, seeing, and meditation, and in order to attain the four bodies, the four empowerments arise, with the difference of deities entering from above. Moreover, just as in the Paramita, the object of reliance is established as the degree of maturity in which one is abandoning the afflictions to be abandoned by seeing and the afflictions to be abandoned by meditation, and in which one is able to generate the path of seeing, so in the mantra path, through the uninterrupted empowerment, in order to freely transform the two attainments of abandonment and realization in this very life, it is established as the degree of maturing the continuum. The root is: In the four empowerments of base, path, and fruit, the support of the channels, winds, and bindus, which are primordially accomplished, is inherently present and equal to it, and there are two kinds of coemergent causes. A disciple who is capable is the condition of the cause, a master who possesses view and intention is the condition of the lord, knowing the ritual of power is the condition of knowledge, and dependent arising is the immediate condition. From the gathering of two causes and four conditions, the empowerment is accomplished. Thus, for this, the unsurpassed Mantrayana is that in the naturally accomplished leisure of the base, the aggregates, elements, and sources of the support are fully present in the nature of the support, which is inherently present in oneself, and by the path of empowerment, relying on skillful means, one makes it ripen, and the fruit is the union of generation and completion, the yogi himself.
