Speaking merely in terms of classification, those mandalas in which male deities are predominant and have many silk and jewel ornaments are Father Tantras. Those in which female deities are predominant and are naked, adorned with bone ornaments, and smeared with great quantities of ashes, etc., are Mother Tantras. The distinction between these is that in slow deities, the main deity changes while the consort does not change, which is Yoga Father Tantra. Similarly, when the consort changes but the main deity does not change, it is Mother Tantra. Thus, the one and only Powerful Mother becomes the main deity and attendant of whichever of the five families is being practiced. In Father Tantras, the generation stage is elaborated, and the completion stage emphasizes winds, while in Mother Tantras, the completion stage emphasizes only bindus. When both are taught equally, it is called Non-Dual Tantra, but all tantras are included in the tantra of non-duality of method and wisdom. The specialty of this Black Tantra is that it is not afflicted by many hardships of celibacy like outsiders, nor by many acceptances and rejections such as purity and impurity, but is distinguished by observing the samaya of the great equality of Dharma, which is the special characteristic of the Unsurpassed. Root: Great Yoga Father Tantra is the path of method. The generation stage is emphasized, purifying the five winds. Subsequently, Yoga Mother Tantra is the path of wisdom. The completion stage is emphasized, generating bliss by dissolving the elements. Very Yoga Non-Dual is the path of wisdom. Combining oneness and separation, it unites with great clear light. That is to say, in this unsurpassed secret mantra, the nature of the truth of suffering, together with the adventitious stains, the samsaric illusion of the arising of existence caused by the continuum and its results, is purified and cleansed by the generation stage, thus it is the path of truth. The lineage of afflictions arising from the origin of phenomena, the nature of the truth of suffering, is transformed into the liberation illusion of the fruition Buddha, and meditated upon in the mandala complete with the three seats, thus blazing as the truth of cessation. That is, from the perspective of the adventitious imputed to be purified, it starts from the generation stage; from the perspective of dependence on others, it starts from the completion stage; and in accordance with the thoroughly accomplished, the Great Perfection is made the path. Thus, the Father Tantras and others, through the generation stage as a method, purify the five elements of wind, purifying the illusion into a pure land, thereby accomplishing the two siddhis of uniting clarity and emptiness.

The Co-emergent Yoga does not emphasize the generation stage, but rather, from the mandala of the realm of great bliss Bhaga, first becoming familiar with one's own skillful body, and then from the great mudra of another body, achieving enlightenment with the great bliss of the wisdom of the four joys. The non-dual tantra, the ultimate yoga, emphasizes the nature of oneness and separation, transforming the impurities of the aggregates into purity. Root verse: The essence of all is the body with six realms, aggregates, realms, sources, channels, bindus, and winds. The activity is the self-generation, completion, and union of the three. The qualities are the path of the Vajrayana that generates all virtues. This refers to the five elements of earth, water, fire, wind, and space, and the emptiness of their realm of nature, which is the realm of wisdom, divided into six. Among them, the five: form, feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness are the aggregates, and the realms are also the flesh, blood, warmth, breath, and the emptiness inside the abdomen. The abiding channels, the moving winds, and the arranging bodhicitta, which rely on these, are capable, that is, when practice transforms into strength, the generation stage, the completion stage, and the union of the two are used as the path, and the qualities of the ground and the path can all be generated, which becomes the supreme path of the Vajra. Root verse: In the great mandala of self-nature spontaneously accomplished, determine with view, experience with meditation, abandon with conduct, accomplish the two benefits with result, and rely correctly on the continuum of ground, path, and result. Thus, in the profound time of the near path of the Vajrayana, the nature of all phenomena being enlightened from the realm is determined by view, so in the state of the indivisible ground of truth, self-nature completely accomplished, one establishes the reasons for sound discrimination and attachment to objects, not only the nominal ultimate truth that follows the two truths, but the wisdom of example arising from the power of abiding in the nature of the great seal, or relying on the union of the means and wisdom of the two stages, one directly experiences the self-born wisdom of the continuum of Nirvana. That is, the continuum of cause or ground is in the center of the seven aggregates of sentient beings' alaya consciousness, the Tathagatagarbha abides like the sun obscured by clouds. The continuum of means or path is the impurity of that which is to be purified, purified by many skillful illusions, and what is the self-nature of oneself.
