Due to unbearable suffering, I cried a lot and felt immeasurable sadness, as clear as it is now. Then, at the age of seven, I was sent to my uncle Lama to learn to read and write. I only learned a few letters, but I naturally mastered the spelling. When I recited one or two verses that inspired wisdom, I immediately wrote them on the wall, and I could recite them fluently during exams. There were many other wonderful behaviors like this, but let's stop here for now. From then on, I studied on my own, and by the age of nine, I was proficient in all the prevalent teachings in that area. At the age of ten, I wrote some wonderful practice notes, but now there isn't even a sample left. Around this time, my Bodhicitta grew stronger. When I saw sick children, people suffering from old age, beggars, and other suffering beings, compassion arose involuntarily, and I often cried where my parents couldn't see me. Therefore, whether directly or indirectly, I helped as much as I could. In particular, even if others acted harshly through body and speech, I only wanted to change and transform their minds, and I would never harbor ill will. This is still the case now. I believe this is the blessing of the Three Jewels, and it is the most wonderful part of my biography. Then, at about the age of eleven, I built a Naga mandala in the corner of my house and composed a corresponding ritual for it. After doing this, my father said that this child must be possessed and declared that I was not allowed to do such things again. At that time, I had a dream in which I went up to the top of a mountain in a large forest. In the middle of the five branches of an unknown tree, there was a yogi with his hair tied in a topknot, wearing simple clothes such as cotton robes. He stared at me with bulging eyes and recited: Naga le le, Dumba le le, Paga le le, Patam te, Patam te, etc. Then he stood up, took my hand, and led me to a mountaintop. We arrived at a huge rock, and the yogi tapped the rock. Instantly, a huge stone door like the gate of a temple opened, and the two of us went inside. There were many scriptures there.

Because of the walls, the golden walls were shining brightly, and a huge wheel was constantly spinning. Near it, there was also a very bright lamp. The yogi said, "These books are the treasures of the Dharma, the Dharma wheel, and the lamp is the lamp of the end of the kalpa. You are the owner of these, so do it." As soon as he said that, when I woke up, the joy disappeared without a trace, and those things were gone, leaving me feeling very lost. Another time, I was holding a blue substance that looked like indigo, and as soon as I approached a huge rocky mountain, whose roots were in the water and whose peak seemed to reach the sky, I smeared the blue substance on the rocky mountain. At the same time, like a blacksmith hammering red-hot iron, the rocky mountain shattered into pieces, leaving only traces. I woke up from the dream feeling very scared. Also, in the dream, I was sitting behind a large rock on a high mountain peak. At the foot of the mountain, there was a large village like Lhasa. I braced my feet against the rock and rolled down the mountainside, turning the village into a cloud of dust, leaving only traces. I felt very regretful and woke up from my sleep. Another time, before a smallpox epidemic came to that place, a terrifying and fierce female bear put me under her armpit and came to the entrance of an earthen cave or a dark cave. When the bear probed the depths of the cave, it said, "See if there are any good children." I thought I would definitely not be able to escape, so I said, "Don't eat any children except me, eat me." It left me there and went back, as if it had two children's clothes wrapped around its front and back. Later, the smallpox epidemic killed two children. From then on, when I was twelve or thirteen years old, the monks in the assembly told the reasons for Lhasa and the Jokhang Temple, and I always thought about when I could get there. However, due to the times, how could I encounter such a thing? During that time, when the mother of my paternal and maternal uncles died, I invited Chatra Karma Ngesleg Tenzin, the representative of Situ Rinpoche's nephew, and I went to his presence many times. In my childhood biography, I did not leave. If I follow you, I can learn the Dharma.
