Thinking, "May I become one with self-nature." After dedicating with the blessing of the obstacle-destroying torma and any dedication words, from the ritual root text's "Hum, I am with the pride of the deity," etc., dispel obstacles and seal the boundaries, and then recite as usual. However, if you are willing to recite the small ritual, it seems that doing so is sufficient. In the morning and evening, you can alternate between the two rituals, or for all morning rituals, recite the extensive one once, and for all others, the small one is sufficient. Although the extensive ritual is recited when the collection of words is large, it is certain that the small ritual is sufficient for all sessions because it is easier to engage in. In any case, once you start reciting, there are four ways: approaching, practicing, great practice, and activity. The first is: In general, all ritual activities are included in approaching. In particular, whether it is a peaceful or wrathful ritual, it must be practiced in the mandala that establishes existence as the basis, not like the partiality of clinging to the self-generated seven deities and the three vase deities. In order to practice oneself, others, and the six types of sentient beings as one peaceful and wrathful mandala, contemplate all the container world as the palace of peaceful and wrathful deities, thereby purifying the habitual tendencies of the object to be purified, the container world. The deities dwelling within it are the assembly of hundreds of deities of the eight consciousness aggregates, such as the alaya, and the object to be purified is the defilement of the aggregates, elements, and sources, which are purified by the peaceful and wrathful deities, that is, using appearance as the path, the purity of the alaya is the mind of Samantabhadra, and the alaya consciousness is the manifestation of the play of bliss and emptiness, all that appears as mind and mental factors is represented by the purification of the form aggregate as Vairochana, and all the aggregation of objects and sense faculties, if one does not know how all these objects to be purified and results of purification are transformed into the body of the hundred families of deities in the self-continuum of the generation stage, it is like a lamp in a painting. Therefore, in the generation stage of the ritual "Self-Liberation," "This self or self-mind, in the non-conceptual instant of perfect recollection, Samantabhadra's body is blue" is said to be the sound that completely purifies the clinging to the agent and the object and the mind-dharma, and Samantabhadra represents emptiness, like the father and mother tantras, it is the basis of all the peaceful and wrathful deities. This is also because it arises from the dharmadhatu and symbolizes the nature of all.

In short, for the heart courtyard that pervades the entire palace without obscuration, the five Buddha families, father and mother, and the sixteen bodhisattvas reside within. All supports and supported ones are not like containers holding objects, which have obscurations. Therefore, it is said to be outwardly clear and inwardly clear. The mandala of the Heruka deities is also not regarded as the actual body mandala that combines the purification of the head, bones, aggregates, realms, and sources. This is merely a reminder of the primordial deities who possess the three seats complete at the time of fruition. Among the two mandalas of peaceful and wrathful deities, the first is: the wisdom of the main deity, Kuntuzangpo, which is the nature of self-appearance, namely Vairochana. As stated in the Root Tantra of Terrifying Wrath, "In the center is the main deity, Vairochana." Starting from the front of Vairochana, clockwise, in the four directions, the nature of the aggregates and realms of the four wisdoms, which is the nature of primordial purity, the Buddhas of the four families and their retinues, each surrounded by their respective bodhisattvas and bodhisattva mothers. At the four doors, the gatekeeper father and mother, and the six places explained in their respective texts, the six Thubpas appear. The Heruka deities are also as mentioned above, in accordance with the manner of residing and the meaning of the body deities, above the five or ten pure lands of the nature emanation, in accordance with the arrangement and meaning of the supports and supported ones of the burning land of the charnel ground fire sea. In the peaceful state, it is as usual, and the supports and supported ones of the wrathful deities are also the same as the above-mentioned burning arrangement of the fire sea, merely appearing. Such arising is not like proceeding through the stages of the path, but rather the means of transforming the body, speech, and mind of the practitioner into the deities of the three bodies of the Buddha, which is the method of Atiyoga. Therefore, it should not be regarded as the same as the stages of the path below this. Among them, when actually reciting, the first is the approach practice, arranged according to the approach practice text of Zurchen Choying Rangdrol. In the heart of Vairochana, in the center of the sun and moon discs, Kuntuzangpo, father and mother, blue, with hands in the meditation mudra, seated in vajra posture, like a burning ball of light the size of a finger joint, radiating light, transforming all phenomena and existence, both container and contents, into a vast palace of deities and deity mothers, transforming all dharmas into the Buddha's realm, abiding in the nature of the dense array of Akanishta.
