The walls were built with nails of meteoric iron, and the pillars of the eight great gods had the eight great nagas carved as beams; the crossbeams of the eight great planets, the radiance of the stars, the lightning of Rudra, and the horse-heads of makaras; on the left and right sides of the dark black Dharma wheel parasol, the offspring of makaras gaze; the heads of fierce and cruel beasts such as tigers, bears, and lions gape open; nets and half-nets strung with skulls on chains of wrathful snakes are hung; the offering goddesses of the desire realm dance; from the northeast, in order, at the four corners are placed a vajra, meteoric iron, silk, and the great banner of blood; the outer layer of that great palace is a city of iron skulls, where Yama and hordes of demons and ogres dwell, surrounded by a black iron mountain, within which are eight great charnel grounds, with various kinds of corpses: swollen, rotten, fermenting; fierce beasts such as tigers, leopards, bears, and brown bears; and many carrion-eating birds such as vultures and crows fill it; at the edges of the charnel trees, piled wood, and thorny forests are yakshas and flesh-eating ghosts, zombies and flesh-eating demonesses; and countless gatherings of mothers and dakinis, in short, there is nothing lacking in the charnel ground's appearance, the edges of the terrifying scene are surrounded without interruption by flames and a vajra fence. In its center is an eight-spoked wheel, five layers inside and out, and the place where the four activities are spontaneously accomplished in the belly surrounded by red divine cloth; the triangular skull city, whose expanse is equal to the sphere of reality, in the center, on a seat of various corpses, is the glorious mistress of mantra, the black wrathful queen, an emanation of Samantabhadri, the great sovereign mother of all samsara and nirvana, with countless retinues inseparable from her, such as white retinues, yellow retinues, red retinues, and blue-black retinues; some have beautiful forms; some are wrathful and fierce; some are desirous and laughing, and so on, in short, the mothers and dakinis accomplished by wisdom and activity, all the various classes accomplished by differences in appearance and name, and the emanation of the body of the wheel-increasing mother, the twelve oath-bound mothers; the speech emanation, the five great dakinis; the activity of

Twelve emanated Tenma. To the right, the great King Palden Yeshe Gonpo who employs, the five classes of emanated Gonpo, and the emanations together with their retinues. To the left, the great King Kyéchok Dorjé Lekpa who liberates, together with the Té Trang Töngdé retinue. Behind, the secret liberating King, Rahula, the demon of the planets, the razor of life, the eight planets, together with the four-faced mother. In front, the hidden protector of treasures, the charnel ground goddess, protecting the treasures of monasteries and hermitages, not harming the wealth with Naga substances and Yakshas, transforming food into evil Rakshasis. The evil Néma Marmö, wearing a black silk garment, holding an iron hook in the right hand and a mirror in the left, together with her eight sisters, appearing as clearly as manifest. Outside of that, in the eight-spoked wheel, in five layers, from the front of the innermost white one, clockwise in order: Indra, the lord of the gods, white, holding a vajra. Ganga, the lord of the Nagas, blue, holding a snake lasso. Tagzangri, the lord of the Asuras, green, holding a sword. Jönpa, the centaur, yellow, holding a flute. Gungwa Zangpo, the Yaksha, dark blue, holding a sword. Ser Mik Khyilwa, the Garuda, white, holding a snake. Drizha Zurpü Ngawa, the Gandharva, white, holding a lute. Dharma protector Mahakala, black, holding a club. These are the eight classes of arrogant outer ones, holding their own emblems in their right hands and all making threatening gestures with their left hands. Outside of that, in the eight-spoked red wheel: Yabchik Düdjé, the black lord of demons, holding a divination board in the right hand and an enemy weapon in the left. Tsen Gyal Yamshü, red, holding a spear banner and a bow and arrow. Yüllha Phyasang Lüsé, dark purple, holding a disease bag and a wind banner. Sö Dak Gyalpo Nyingjyin, white, holding a conch shell and a skull cup. Dharma protector Nöjin, red, holding a red spear and a gut lasso. Lhamo Jikpé Lokjyin, dark blue, holding a sword and a disease bag. Gewen Dorjé Lekpa, red-black, holding a vajra and an enemy heart. Karmo, holding a sun and moon skull garland, a hooked knife, and a wind banner. These are the eight classes of arrogant inner ones. Outside of that, in the eight-spoked dark blue wheel: Düpo Khatün Raksha, black, holding an enemy weapon and a lasso. Shinje Shépo, red, holding a divination board and a lung and heart. Lü Dü Naga Raja, dark blue, holding a snake lasso and a disease bag. Nöjin Shenpa Drito, red-black, holding a shinbone and a disease bag.
