Ah! I possess the instruction of illusory body equal taste. If the body is sick or there is fear, I will return. When the crucial point arises at the time of death, I possess the instruction of awareness without support. If there is fear in the bardo, I will go back. If the causes and conditions of samsara are not cut off, I possess the instruction of blocking the doors of the six realms. If the precipice of the six realms is cut off, I will return. Listen, all you lords, subjects, disciples! If faith is not born from the depths of your heart, renunciation and wisdom will not arise. If renunciation and wisdom do not arise, you will not meet the guru's instructions. If you do not meet the guru's instructions, you will not see your own mind as Buddha. With great faith, devotion, and respect, practice the guru's instructions. I am free from birth and death. I have no going or not going. Wisdom is continuous in my heart. In the wish-fulfilling jewel of my own mind, I have no thoughts of happiness or suffering. If you meditate on me as an ornament on the crown of your head, I have no near or far. In the mandala of the victorious ones of your own body, I have no obstruction or non-obstruction. Think like that and have faith and respect. I go by the power of miraculous abilities, but you who are obstructed cannot follow. Always pray to Remala, and you will meet me without interruption. Having said that, accompanied by sunlight, in an instant he flew into the sky, turning his face from the southwest direction, with immeasurable rays of loving-kindness, he placed those to be tamed on the ground of Buddhahood. The teacher, having accomplished the power to transform at will, in an instant, from the south of India, crossed the ocean by boat to the west, the place he went to was Damidodvipa, a small island, in ancient times, because it was filled with rakshasas and dakinis flying and walking in the sky, it is said that the name was derived from that. The males and females born as demons disguised as humans, with various vidya mantras, perform evil deeds, fierce dakinis or mantra-holding mothers display various illusions. The teacher first arrived in that land, the mistress of that island, the female mantra-holder, the sixty-four queens of the king, having summoned all of them with the power of compassion, subdued and tamed them with mantras and mudras, and also made the other chief mothers gather, establishing the first vow.

At that time, when he arrived in the cities of various places, all the vidyādharī residing there, seeing that most of the people of Jambudvipa were being involuntarily seduced and threatened by them, when those people prepared to flee, they nailed wooden pegs into their four limbs and swore an oath not to harm others in the future, received bodhicitta and made a second vow. Again, on another occasion, when the teacher himself arrived in that place, in a certain inn, many women were filtering water with sieves, and they seemed to be brewing something, some turning into blood, some into fat, some into semen, meat, and butter, and likewise into molasses, rice, wine, and so on. Seeing this, he inquired of them, and since they did not recognize him as the teacher, they said, "These are the bodies and food essences of the people of Jambudvipa that we have seduced." To this, the teacher said, "Do you not remember the oath you took before the teacher?" They replied, "The oath taken by our leader is true, but others have not gathered, so no oath has been taken." At that time, in that former cave, the number of vidyādharī leaders and attendants who had been subdued reached twelve hundred thousand, and he seized the life-mantras of all of them, enslaved them, and took away their methods of practice, pacified the leaders, and also made the attendants receive bodhicitta, precepts, and vows, and strengthened the oaths. He placed all the main retinue under three vows. Furthermore, he subdued the non-humans of that place. Thinking to subdue the people, he placed the male deity of the king, named Yidak Pare (ཡི་དྭགས་པཪྤཱ་རེ་), a powerful spirit, under oath. When the king's consorts were also seduced to be offerings to the mandala deities, the king became angry and came with an army, the great teacher scattered white mustard seeds, and all the weapons turned into flames, all the soldiers became stiff, speechless, mentally deranged, lost their memory, and were about to die. At the entreaty of the other people, the great teacher washed them with water from a vase, and in that instant, they were restored to their original state and became happy. Thereafter, the king and his retinue together prostrated at the feet of the teacher, prayed, and promised, "We will do as you command," and took an oath, and thus the Buddhist teachings were established.
